Okay, I maaay not have considered just how much my throat would hurt screaming bloody murder nonstop.

But who has time for regret when things were working!

"Someone looks like they're having second thoughts," Leo teased as he swings me up in the air as a tentacles shots between us but I scream the mass back down into the void away from us.

"No I'm not-" My voice squeaks and breaks on the last word as I tried to quip back.

"Pfft!" Leo laughs and makes a motion to squeeze the water around my cheeks. Simulating pinching them because my force field helmet air bubble wouldn't allow it. "You're adorable when you have regrets!"

I glare at him and smack his hand away from me, just as Dion swoops in in a backwards twirl and scoops me up right as inky black ooze takes up the space I was in just seconds prior.

"What did we agree on about flirting!?" He warns, raising his voice over the chaos to grab both me and Leo's attention.

"I was simply talking!!" Leo fired back as he tucks through two technicians that strategically tried to attack and box him in, but were too slow to corner the golden bullet.

"Flirting!" Dion, the silver torpedo that he is right now, corrected as he winds up his arms and does a 360 in the water to launch me further down into the abyss.

I take a deep breath and yell a small hole just big enough from me to slide through and get caught by Leo when I pop out the other end.

"So stating facts is flirting now?" Leo asked incredulously. "Look at her!?" He grabss at my face for emphasis as he tucks in his arm and angles my face out in Dion's direction. "She's objectively adorable! THAT'S A FACT!!"

I shove Leo below me and whistle loudly at a blob that tries to snake up behind us in a sneak out.

"I appreciate the compliments Leo, but you're dragging to much attention to us!" I say as I feel him yank on my leg after shoving him down to drag me along with him through his momentum.

"He always does," Dion grumbles as he expertly manuerve out of a very tight situation and regroups with us. "Can you do another massive scream to buy us resting time to catch our breaths?"

I clear my throat a bit and tap the base of my neck to test limits.

"I have about 3 more massive wails left in me." I nod to him.

"I think 2 should be enough to get us back." He informs me. I nod back solemly.

"Cover you ears." I warn.

They instantly reach over and cover each others ears, adorable, as I squeeze my fists tight and hunch down into a ball and screamed as loud as I could till I was slightly light headed. Projecting my voice as far out from around us as I could physically manage at the moment.

The seas around us grew pin-drop quiet as the monster shivered in agony and disipated from our general area momentarily to recover from the audio assault.

Relief at the temporary break in fighting for our lives overtook us as our bodies sag from the slowly ever increasing exhaustion levels we were incuuring.

Leo drops his hands from around Dion's head, but Dion instead keeps his around Leo's ears as he pulls him in for a vicious kiss.

My eyes buldge out along with Leo's as Dion's actions completely stun locks the both of us.

But it takes Leo all but 5 seconds to reciprocate the kiss and melt into Dion's embrace as he deepens the kiss himelf.

Looking at the both of them inginited a fire in my chest that I immediately squashed before it festered into something I could not contain.
