Kristine's Pov

"Did we forgot something? What is the day today?" those words came out from her pefect curved lips.

"Tuesday your highness." I answered.

"So, today is school day right?" she seemed problematic. "How could I even forget that? I thought it is already Saturday." she murmured. She's a straight A student so it's pretty normal to see her expression like this. "Why are we here? Suppose to be we're in school right now. Let's go back and change. It is better to be late than absent." she added while pulling me from my seat.

"Could you please stop being paranoid? We will just be absent for one day. There is no problem with that." I spoke in a duh tone.

"Well I think you're really a good friend babe." she encountered with a little bit attitude. Wait. What did I just heard? Babe? It doesn't mean something Kristine. Okay, I just shrugged it off. She's upset but we know that it won't last long.

"Hey I'm talking here Kristine , aren't you listening?" she questioned while waving her right hand near my face.

"Sorry. What are you saying?" I said.

"Since we're here. What are we gonna do now?" she asked. "Eat, have fun and enjoy." I spoke.

"Summer's not enough for you?" she encountered again. "Nope." I answered. While I am readying the blanket, foods and drinks. She's just silent. "Okay since you're so silent. Tell me who you're inlove or admired with." I started. She seemed taken back by my sudden question. "Wh..
What?" she stuttered. "I am inlove with no one Kristine." she finished.

"Are you sure?" moving closer to her. "Y... Yes?" she said. I leaned in 'til we're just inches apart. I could feel her warm breath smelling like bubblegum and hear her fast pounding heart. She took a deep breath and exhaled slowly but because of the realization she slowly pushed me away. Am I too fast? I thought. Sweat trickled down my forehead. Woo that was close.

Think before you act. That's it. Silence speaks and awkwardness came.

I smirked to cover up my embarassment. "Did I got into you? You turned pale for a second."

"Sh... Shut up. Why did you do that?" she asked.

"Just to tease you my friend." I winked while she groaned.

"Stop making fun of me." she stated expressionless. What's her problem?

Shayne's Pov

"Are you a lesbian , bisexual or something?" I asked while eating some piatos. We just acted like nothing happened a few minutes ago.

"For 5 years of friendship Shayne ? You did not noticed or observed my sexuality? How come? Yes, I am. I am a lesbian." she answered.

"Sorry, even if we're bestfriends sometimes I dont really care. I mean, I am tired of observing other people. You see ? I dont really share or talk about my life. You didn't even know who and what really I am." I stated.

"I know who and what you are Shayne. I am your bestfriend remember. And hey, I am not just other people." she said.

"No Kristine, you don't have any idea who and what really I am. You dont know where I really came from. On how did I survived this bullsh*t." she just really don't know.

**flashback**

"Daddy". I shouted I ran to him and hugged him tight."I missed you."

"I missed you too honey." he kissed my forehead. "How's my princess?".

"Sad, when you and mom were not around. Where's mom?" i asked.

"She will be gone for awhile princess. She just have to finish some transactions in England." he answered.

"Excuse me your highness. There's an information regarding the queen's kidnapping" the general interrupted.

Upon hearing that I felt teardrops falling. "Kidnapping? Dad ? Where's my mom?" I asked crying.

"Let's talk about this later my princess I promise I would tell you everything." by that he left.
He left me hanging. I ran to my room. I cried all night because my mom has been kidnapped. My mom was gone.

"Assasiiiiiins". I heard a guard shouted from outside. Assasins?
