Pokémon Fanfiction - Suicune

Chapter 4: Rainark

"Suicune, where will we go?" asked Misty.
"Rainark, the region where I live with Alakazam. When we were caught, we were just travelling. I want to find Alakazam." Said Suicune.
"But where do you think he is? Didn't you say they sold him?" Asked Misty.
"I don't know if they did. He was very expensive." Said Suicune.
"But why would he be in Rainark?"
"Because that's where The Host is going next."
Not soon after that conversation, Ash came up next to Misty riding a Tauros.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm coming with you." He replied.
"Fine, but don't mess this up for me!"
The bridge they were riding on led to the ocean where they would ride water Pokémon to the region, with Suicune being their guide.
"We're here." Suicune said.
Noctowl hooted with delight.
"We're going to have to go across that sea to get to Rainark. It'll be a long ride but it's worth it." Said the water Pokémon.
"How long, exactly?" Ash asked.
"Two days."
"Two days!? I don't even have a water Pokémon!" Ash exclaimed.
"Use Milotic." Misty held out the pokéball for him to take.
"But I thought you didn't want anyone to ride Milotic except for you." He said.
"I'll make an exception."
"Wow, uh, thanks. Go Milotic!" The water-type emerged from the waves when he released it and let out a call.
Misty walked Suicune into the ocean, and Ash leaped on to Milotic, then they rode out to sea.

"What's Rainark like?" Misty asked.
"There's a few towns and cities but you need to explore to find them. The ride might take two days but the trip to get to Jeracia City takes about 3 hours from the forest. So we'll get there in two and a half days. Then we can try to find Alakazam." Said Suicune adding a yawn. "But can we stop on an island for tonight?"
"It is getting late isn't it." Said Ash.
"Let's stop over there."
They rested on a small island for the night. Misty with Suicune, Ash with Pikachu. It was very peaceful until Pikachu tugged on Ash.
"Pika, pika!" It kept saying.
"What is it Pikachu?" He asked.
There was a giant Ursauring standing behind them.
"Oh no!" Ash ran over to Misty.
"Wake up there's a huge Ursauring behind us!!" He said.
"What? Ursauring? Go back to sleep Ash." She said.
"LOOK BEHIND YOU!" He shouted.
She yelped and immediately sent out Vaporeon.
"Use Hydro Pump, then Double Team!"
Vaporeon shot water at the hug bear-like creature's face, then jumped behind it and made fake clones of itself.
"Haha, you ugly bear! Try that in for size!" All the clones said in her regularly high-pitched voice.
It got confused and tried hitting them all, until Vaporeon lunged right and it's face with a Headbutt, taking the creature down.
"Now let's get off of this island before that thing wakes up! Vaporeon, return!" Misty said, leaping onto her Pokémon and riding off into the sea with Ash.
Misty was considerably more quiet after that incident, and the Pokémon were much faster than they were before, shortening the trip to Jeracia.
"My, my, Suicune, this trip is going faster than you expected!" Said Milotic.
"Yes, and?"
"Tell me about Jeracia!"
"There's a lot of people, it's almost overwhelming. There's a lot of other Pokémon too."
"Sounds interesting..." Milotic said, swishing his tail back and forth.
"Yeah, it is."

By morning they were there after deciding to walk through the forest all night.
They slept through the day and waited until the late afternoon to go into the city.
When they arrived everyone was utterly shocked to see Misty and Suicune, and to a lesser extent Ash and Milotic.
A few people rushed over to Misty and praised her for her greatness, she was a bit bashful about the whole situation, but Suicune didn't mind the attention at all.
Ash on the other hand was giving everyone who wanted an autograph one, he was very pleased that everyone knew him and he told them all stories.

Once everyone had quieted down Ash was telling everyone a story about the mirage Pokémon.
Everyone who knew who Misty was were inside, but everyone who didn't know who she was were listening to Ash tell stories and they were also asking him questions.
"Then Misty and I fought Mewtwo... we lost the first time."
"But, who's Misty, your girlfriend?" Asked a Brunette.
"Actually, no. Misty's right here with me."
Misty was sitting next to Ash quietly with Suicune, who was listening to the audience intently.
They all said that she and Suicune looked and acted alike. They were all right though. Misty's long, flowing hair looked like Suicune's mane, and they both had the same calm, yet watchful expression.
Suicune though, would talk to the people much more often through telepathy, while Misty stayed quiet for the most part.
"Noctowl, Tauros, go behind that building, I'll be there in a second." snapped Suicune.
"Okay, why?" Asked Tauros.
"You'll see." Suicune got up from beside the benches and fire pit, and sauntered over to behind the building.
"Noctowl, I have a job for you. The same goes for you, Tauros." Suicune said.
"And what's that?" Asked Tauros.
"Noctowl, look for The Host, Tauros, I want you to be the look out behind this building. If anything suspicious happens, tell me. I'll be over at the park by the fountain." And that's exactly where she went.

Milotic is MALE. If I referred to him as female in the first few chapters it was accidental, but he is male.
