"This is what the world has come to!" Mr. Enby exclaimed, empathetically slamming his stick against the drawing on the board. "Brother killing brother, friend stealing from friend! The world used to be peaceful, some even say the mobs and humans had an alliance. And then some imbecile made a sword and tested it out on the mobs, causing the constant war between the mobs and humans."

"If he had used his brain," Mr. Enby continued his long speech, causing a yawn to escape my mouth, "he wouldn't have even made the sword; much less use it on the mobs. Miss O'Brien, are you listening?"

I looked up at him, saying, "Yeah. You were talking about how the mobs only hate us 'cause of some idiot that hit them with a sword."

"If you don't mind me asking," he began, "What happened to your eye?"

"Sorry, but I do mind you asking." I said looking back down at the pattern on my desk.

I heard that annoying tune, and everyone got up and left the classroom. As I walked out, I heard Quentin sidle up with me.

"How nice of you to join me." I sarcastically said, earning a smile from Quentin.

"So, we going to your house?" Quentin asked.

"Yeah. It's not like you'll take me to your house." Quentin chuckled at that.

"So, what do you wanna make out of it?" Quentin asked me, staring down at the few pieces of redstone that lay on the table. I pulled out a book, flipping through the pages until I found the page I had been looking for. "Here it is." I muttered more to myself than to Quentin.

He looked over my shoulder, looking at the page. "What is that?" he asked me.

I closed the book. "Something my mother designed." I frowned and tried to push the thought of her out of my mind, "It's a cobblestone generator."

"So what I'm doing is making a redstone clock, which will carry the current around, making the piston push the block forward repeatedly." I explained to Quentin as I placed down the lever.

"Man, you're good with redstone. I suck at using it." Quentin said as he looked at me.

I flipped the lever, and smiled when it worked. "Thanks." I said as I backed up and looked at the finished project. I pulled out my pickaxe, saying, "All you have to do is mine the cobblestone."

I looked over at the setting sun, and nodded when Quentin said, "I should probably head home."

"See you tomorrow." I waved at Quentin as he walked away.

The cold night air sent a chill down my spine as I crawled out the window. I pulled out my, now blood covered, diamond sword when my feet touched the soft, green grass. Pulling my hood up, I looked around for any sign of a mob.

I looked around, sighing when I saw no one. As I crept around the town, I thought about last night. Did I kill a guard? Why didn't I just get up and keep running? Did it even happen? I looked down at my bloody sword, muttering, "I never thought I'd have to kill anyone." I sighed and sat down, leaning against a building.

I had sat there for about an hour, trying to think of what place to go to. As I walked around, I spotted what looked like a mansion. I'd never seen that before. When I snuck into the large building, I saw stuff everywhere. Diamonds, gold, redstone, golden apples (gapples), all sorts of stuff.

As I walked around, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Everything there must've cost a fortune. Everything went then, though. The lights turned on, and what I saw surprised me. I turned around, seeing Quentin.

"Rhoswyn?"
