Guiding Light's P.O.V.:

"Seriously..? Again?" I asked, disappointed at Screech. He had just been crucified by a human.

"How the hell would I know that the human had a freaking crucifix?!" Screech whined, still chained to the ground.

I sighed. Ever since I came to power and have the ability to crucify my fellow friends, life's became a game. Truly, I don't want to see anyone hurt, but if a human points a crucifix towards an entity, I'll have to work. Except when I have a feeling that they're atheists.

"Listen... Try attacking quicker or something. This is like, the 5th time this month." I say, freeing the floating ink head from the chains.

"Noted. I'll get back to work. Thanks for the tip." Screech thanked me, flying away.

"You should've developed this strategy sooner, goofball." I muttered to myself, annoyed.

Although I was still a bit grumpy after that, I quickly went back to my position, aiding the human when necessary. That was until they came across the greenhouse.

"They're dead. They just don't know it yet." I thought to myself.

There's no wonder why I thought that. The Greenhouse is no joke. One mishear and you're dead. Especially because Rush does not give you any chances to survive in that place.

Screech being there doesn't help either, since he can bite you at any time, and when he combos with Rush, you're up to have a REALLY bad time.

Eyes is no different. Sure, he can light up the rooms a bit and give out Snares, but that doesn't pay off when he literally gives you lethal migraines and hypertensions.

With that in mind, I watched as the human progressed slowly through the greenhouse. Should've saved the crucifix lil bro.

"Good lord... Why must this place be lightless..." The Human complained. That was the first time I heard their voice... It's quite pleasant to hear.

As they progressed, I noticed that they often hung around the wardrobes, camping there in case Rush shows up out of nowhere. Nice strategy, I must admit.

But it would backfire. Right when a thunder came down, it muffled Rush's screaming, leaving the human clueless.

When they noticed though, it was too late. If it wasn't for Jack, they would be fine, but that wasn't the case.

Jack was inside the closet first, startling the human and making them fall into the ground hard.

And to put the final nail on the coffin, Rush passed by, chomping the human's head off, blood leaking from the wound.

Soon enough, I was met with their soul in my realm.

"You died to Rush... You attempted to hide, but another entity, Jack, got there first..." I said.

"The Greenhouse is a true challenge, traveler... Be aware of your surroundings and keep your hearing perked up for potential threats!" My voice echoed.

"You've made it this far. Keep going!" I finished, leading the human to his dead body.

I can see their shock in their face. They were definitely wondering what the hell just happened.

"That's me?!" The human asked, startled.

I just nodded my head in response. "Yep, you're dead."

"... What now?" They asked, confused.

"Well, there's nothing you can do much, you can either choose to go to heaven or hell; depending on your life choices, become an entity like everyone else that has died, or... I dunno, I think there's only these two possibilities." I explained, floating slightly above the ground.

"... Can't I be like, your I dunno, assistant? I noticed you helping me in your light form." They requested. That wasn't on my plans, but I'll consider adding that as a third option.

"Sure. Call me Guiding Light." I said, extending my hand for a handshake.

"Y/N." They replied, shaking my hand. After the touch, they officially became a light like me. They were white though.

"Oh, right. What's your favorite color, New Lights?" I asked. Choosing your color is an important step to become a light.

"I would say black, but that wouldn't be a light... I'm going with blue, since you're cyan." They said, immediately turning into a shade of blue.

"Cool stuff." They said, excited.

"Well, now that you're a light, what's gonna be your light name, Y/N?" I asked.

"Uhh... I think Wicked Light sounds good. I must admit that I'm quite the sociopath y'know?" They said.

"Wait, so you're gonna be a neutral light? You're gonna help but help kill other humans?" I asked. That's the first thing I thought about them being a sociopath.

"Well, I guess. Seeing other people suffer isn't good all the time, but I can say the same for helping, I dunno." They explained, trying to fly as well, but falling into the ground.

I giggled. "That's not how you do that, newbie. To float you have to pretend you're sitting on a chair, and then you'll start floating." I explained, helping them up.

"Noted." Then they started floating.

"Say, Guiding... How long have you been like this?" They asked.

"Around 7 or 8 years." I answered, turning their dead body into cosmic dust.

"Whoa. That's plenty of time."
"I know." I answered.

We had a small period of awkward silence, until he told me something unexpected.

"You know, I think you're probably the prettiest woman I've met." They said, completely careless.

"Wha? Oh, you must be seeing things..." I answered, blushing a bit.

"C'mon, hun. Aside from being honest and helpful, you're beautiful. Your voice is so soothing, and your beauty is just impossible to ignore." They said, floating above me.

"Shut up... I'm not that stunning..." I tried denying.

"You're gonna get nowhere self deprecating, hun." They said, hugging me from behind.

I blushed intensely, flattered by Y/N's action.

"S-stop that..." I groaned (more like moaned or something, I don't know exactly what I did there), blushing madly. I could feel my body heating up and my light switching from cyan to pink-ish.

"Aww... Is someone embarrassed? How cute..." Y/N teased me, hugging me tighter and resting his head on the back of my neck.

That was quite nice to feel, but I was slightly uncomfortable with the situation I found myself in, so I quickly turned around and kissed them passionately.

"Shut up..." I said demandingly, still blushing.

"Fine..." Y/N groaned, but they were still holding my hand.

They noticed that, so Y/N led my hand towards their mouth, and kissed it.

"Anything to serve the queen." They said teasingly, as I blushed and turned my head to avoid facing them.
