chapter 19 🐙 a deal with the benevolent

I lost inspo for my other book so i decided to at least try and make a chapter for this one.

I'll still update the other one as soon as i figure out how to write the next chapter but here's one for this book.

-----------------------Azul's office-------------------------

After all the non verbal insults thrown at each other by none other than azul and Yue.

You all finally made it into the office that oddly looks like a bank.

You and yue sat on one couch while azul sat on the other with the leech twins behind him.

"Well pearl, it's clear that you are in a situation where you may need help from yours truly no?"

Yue was about to say something before you gestured for him to stay quiet.

"And I'm guessing you want to make a deal with me Azul?"

"Why yes! Aren't you a smart one?"

You frowned before looking at him with a face that shows you are nothing but serious about your words and actions

"Give me the terms, now."

Azul kept up his scheming smile but you could see he was a bit surprised at your sudden impatience.

"No need to get so impatient now my dear pearl i was getting there."

He paused before taking out a contract from under his coat

"If you want to free all the students I've made deals with... I'll need access to that card magic of yours "

Yue slammed the table

"How dare you even suggest such an idea you-!"

"Keep it down yue please."

You gently rubbed his back while trying to calm him down before turning to Azul with a frown

"I'm afraid that wouldn't work Azul... You'd have to first go through clow read's test for a possible future master... Then you'd have to go through the guardians tests... And finally you'd have to learn to respect the cards if you want them to respect you. Could you possibly do all that?"

Azul now had a chocked expression on his face while jade and floyd simply looked amused

"Haha~! She got you on that part Azul!"

"Shut up Floyd!"

Azul sighed before looking back at you once more after calming down

"Alright then how about this? If you cannot get me a specific item from the Atlantica memorial museum within three days... Then you yourself will be my property."

Yue wanted to badly say something but he knew you wouldn't appreciate it so he kept quiet.

"Very well, we have a deal Azul."

Azul smiled as if he had already won

"Wonderful! Now please sign your name right here"

You made sure to read the terms before signing.... And he probably thought you wouldn't because apparently he put that the item will be in his possession until the deal is either won or lost.

Guess you'll have to rely on kero and yue for this one...

You signed the contract before looking at yue.

"I'm sure i can safely entrust this to you and Kero Yue. If necessary please also ask for help from ace and deuce because they definitely owe me."

Yue nodded before getting up

Azul smiled at you

"I see you actually read the terms my dear pearl, as expected of you"

You stayed in your seat while Yue left the room to go tell Kero about the task their master gave.

                            -with Yue-

"Kero do you understand what this means?"

"Yeah yeah i get it yue it sounds like we have to go through one hell of a situation again."

Yue nodded before sitting down on the bed

"It seems like we'll also have to go under water for this so i hope you will cooperate"

Kero sighed before burying his face in the pillow

"Do we really have to? You know i don't mix well with water Yue!"

Yue frowned in disappointment

"Do it for miss y/n after all she did for us recently... We owe her Keroberus, she's been by our side even after all the difficult trials we but her through"

Kero nodded to acknowledge the fact he did indeed own it to one of the brightest girls he may have ever seen in his life

"Yeah i know yue but for now let's just make sure we have everything ready to go"

Kero looked at yue

"Something's in your coat pocket big guy. Looks like piece of paper? You wanna bet how much that she left it behind to help us in case things were to go wrong?"

Yue took out the paper out of his coat pocket before reading it quietly but loud enough so Kero would hear

"If thing's are to go wrong go get leona and give him this paper and ask him to read what's on the back... He'll listen if he wants to get a little something back from the octopus boy"

Kero laughed at the fact that she didn't fear the moody lion in the slightest

"I tell ya he could never argue against her"

Yue sighed before looking outside at the night sky outside and closing his eyes

Hello hello! I accidentally posted this chapter while trying to finish it and i rushed to finish it out of panic!

I still hope you enjoyed the small chapter I've given but for now that's what it's gonna be.

I'll try to update as soon as i get ideas so please be patient with me.
