"That smells good." Harry compliments, peeking over his mum's shoulder. He's back at home after traveling back to LA to check on his house (and make sure his cat isn't dead or starving). He's already spent a week home with his family.

"It should be." Anne says, raising an eyebrow, "You've been at expensive restaurants and what not. It's a good thing you still think your mummy's old cooking is good."

"I think mummy's cooking is incredibly amazing, takes me back home in one bite." Harry gives her his large smile, dipping a finger to the sauce she was focusing on, causing her to smack at his bum, scolding, "Out of my kitchen!"

In the livingroom, Gemma is sat on the couch on her phone with her legs tucked under her and a mug of hot chocolate was standing on the coffee table. Harry sat beside her, "Hey," And he snatches the useless remote from her to switch the telly on.

Harry frowns at her lack of response, "Is that your boyfriend?"

And Gemma smacks him on the thigh because no, she doesn't have a boyfriend at the moment, "Twitter." And she adds, "There's another article about you guys."

"Irrelevant." Harry switches the channels, "It's all lies, don't believe them."

Gemma smirks knowingly and she clears her throat, "'1D member Louis Tomlinson back on his knees for ex-gf Eleanor Calder'."

Harry stiffens, and the air hangs for just a few seconds before he snatches Hemma's phone from her loose grip. She snickers. The article's open and fully loaded- like Gemma's expecting him to read it all painfully- and reds through word per word. He scrolls down and sees the picture. His shoulders sag in relief before he glares at Gemma, "I knew you'd do that." He huffs, "I can't believe you did that."

Gemma bursts out laughing, but as she regains her composure, she grabs at Harry's hands for a second before pulling away, "Sorry," She giggles, "I just wanted to see if it's true."

"If what's true?" Harry asks, and he's annoyed; Gemma's enjoying it.
"If you really love him." Gemma waves a hand, "Like.. love, same thing."

"Love," Harry purses his lips, "Isn't that uh... a 'too-much-to-be-possible' thing'?"

"How's love too much?" Gemma leans her chin on one palm, "Enlighten me, brother."

"I mean," Harry shrugs, "People lose themselves for it. They risk themselves on getting hurt and..get made fun of, be pathetically vulnerable."

"That's why you've never been in a proper relationship." Gemma sighs, "If you don't consider whatever relationship you have with Louis a relationship, that is."

Harry slumps backwards into couch, "I don't even know what we have, what we are to each other."

"Cowardice is a real bitch." Gemma hums, "Y'know, you can lose many chances because you're afraid."

"I'm not afraid."

"You're refusing to confront him about your feelings for him, which isn't really that hard to do since you two are very quite obvious about the whole thing."

Harry crosses his arms, murmuring, "I'm refusing to get myself hurt."
"By what?" Gemma asks, and her tone is slowly rising, "By Louis? Haz, it's been like three... four years since you introduced Louis to us. I knew since then something is going on between you two."

"There is." Harry groans, "There is and it sucks between I feel like it doesn't have any meaning behind it. I don't myself to get hurt because I don't know what he really likes about me, or if there's anything he does want."

"Harry, you'll regret it when it's too late."

Harry chuckles weakly, " I don't want it to be. I just... I need to make sure this isn't going to end. Whatever we have, I'll take it. Dear god, help me."

Harry groans, "I don't want to lose him."
