Epilogue

Ten years later.

Everyone sat around the table laughing and enjoying themselves. This night was a long time in the making. Due to everyone work schedule, and their families, it wasn't often they all got together. Sure, they called and messaged each other almost daily, but they couldn't get together face to face.

It was like old times again, the seniors at one table, the freshman at another, their mates at another. Well mostly. Only three people in their whole friend group had mates outside their circle. Whenever the group got together, they didn't seem to mind sitting away, letting everyone talk and catch up. Only this time there was no separate table. Everyone was sitting at the same table, their mates next to them.

It was Tutah idea to get everyone together at his husband restaurant. They had booked the private event room, so not to be disturbed. And being disturbed was bound to happen with this group. It had always been that all the way back to their freshmen year. They had always gained attention no matter where they went. Sometimes it had been very flattering, other time it was annoying and troublesome. The last thing Tutah had wanted when he was setting up this get together was for them to be disturbed. As he looks around the room at all his friend, his eyes lands on his little brother, his heart skipping a little. They almost lost him, and it was all that bitches fault. It was a good thing the judge didn't see through her act.

Flashback

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Tutah asked holding Kongpob hand tight. They were walking into the courtroom for the sentencing. Arthit was running late but would be there soon. He was coming from his internship and ran into a traffic jam.

The trail had lasted a week, with both side giving their statements, and calling witnesses. The defense attorney for both Janiya and Anurak tried to twist everything around when Kongpob was on the witness stand. The young omega had stood his ground, his answer never changing. When the final statements were given the judge comment he would look everything over and get back to them. That had been six months ago. Two weeks ago, they finally got word the judge was ready to give his ruling and set the date for their sentence. When the judge found them guilty on all counts and set the sentencing for the following week. Kongpob was relieved. He didn't know how much longer he could take of this. Janiya and Anurak had been denied bail, and had been in jail this whole time, but that didn't stop them from calling him and Arthit every chance they got. Even if they blocked the number they would still be able to get though.

"It would be the last time I see them every again right?" Kongpob asked his voice shacky. He didn't want to go in there and see those two assholes. He didn't want to go in there and relive being shot twice again. He still had the scars and would have nightmares now and then from it.

"Never again little brother." Bright said wrapping his arm around the omega shoulder. "Beside she might not live past tonight." He whispered in Kong ear.

"No...don't do anything. That would be to easy of a way out. If you are going to do anything. Do it to the asshole that pulled the trigger." Bright looked at his little brother, nodding.

"I'm sure Arthit has some plans for that." Kongpob just nodded his head, he was sure too. Arthit had confessed what he had done to May, so he knew what his husband was capable of.

Arthit arrived right before the judge walked in. He didn't want to miss this for the world. He was going to hand down his own sentence as soon as he could. They both deserve to die for what they did to his husband. Arthit had wrapped his arms around his omega as the judge walked in. He gave his omega all the strength he could knowing how much of a hard time this was for Kongpob.
