*********Nayeli's POV*******(present time)

As the song ended, i went back to my radio to turn down the volume. Since my radio was by my

window, i caught a glimpse of a figure standing idly on the side walk. Forgetting about the music that

was still blasting, I took a closer look at the lone figure. With a gasp, I remained in place. "Konor," I

whispered to myself.

As if hearing his name, Konor chose that moment to look up. I abruptly backed away from my window,

hoping that he didn't see me.

**********Konor's POV********

I was about to continue walking, when I looked up at her window one last time. My heart began to race

when I saw a quick flash of long black hair. Just as fast as it seemed to appear, though, it was gone. I

stayed there, once again frozen, just to see if she would look out the window again. If you asked me how

long I stood there, I couldn't tell you. I lost track of time, as soon as I had the short glimpse of her.

Soon enough I saw Nayeli slowly look out the window again.

*********Nayeli's POV*******

Dang it! He's still there. We stared at each other, and I lost myself in the depths of his eyes, even

though he was a good distance away from me. 'Why can't you just leave me alone?' I asked myself. It

took all the will power I had left in me to tear away from his gaze. 'If I go down there to talk to him, we're

just going to get back together,' 'Isn't that what you want Nayeli?' Ugh, I don't know what I want anymore.

Without really thinking about it, my feet carried me out of the safety of my room, down the stairs, and onto

the front porch.

*********Konor's POV********

I once again saw her retreat after our eyes had met for what seemed like forever. I started walking

again, but then stopped in my tracks as I heard her front door open. When I turned around, her piercing

brown eyes met mine once again.

"Nayeli," I said in a hushed voice.

I could see her flinch from her name, though I had no idea how she could have heard it from the

distance that still remained between us.

"Konor," she said as a greeting.

I could tell she was fighting to hold back something. I saw a slide show of emotions pass across her

face, before it settled on something that looked like regret.

**********Nayeli's POV********

I was so stupid to keep this from him for so long. Now it was too late. If I told him now he would hate

me forever, and I couldn't live with that. Why did everything have to get so complicated. A lonely tear

escaped my eye, and I could see Konor jog towards me. I didn't deserve him, that was one reason why

we couldn't workout.

"Nayeli what is it? You can tell me. Please." he whispered to me as he reached up and cupped my face

in his hands, wiping off the tear with his thumb.

" Konor I'm so sorry." I said with a shaky voice.
