Guys, seriously?!! 😤
I have been tired—no, EXHAUSTED of asking, requesting, practically begging for comments. But chalo, don't comment if it's such a big deal for you. At least press that star! ⭐ It doesn't take anything from you, and honestly, it doesn't give me much either—except maybe a little hope that this book still has a chance to survive, to be read, to reach more people.
We're almost 32-33 chapters in, and still, the responsibility of appreciating this book seems to be on the shoulders of just a handful of people. Baaki sab silent readers hi bane rahoge? 👀 Matlab, ek like ya ek chhota sa comment dene se aapke haath dukh jayenge kya? Is it really that hard? You're already reading the chapter, already spending time here—how much effort does a simple reaction take?
Tell me honestly, if a book isn't promoted like crazy on social media, does it not deserve readers? Do only books with aggressive marketing deserve love? 😶 If a writer doesn't have time to promote their work 24/7, does that mean their story isn't worthy of support? Matlab, it's my responsibility to carry this book on my shoulders alone, aur aapka koi role hi nahi hai? Just read and go? No engagement, no encouragement? 🤷🏻♀️
I am putting in time, energy, emotions into this story. And you're the one getting entertainment out of it. Even if you don't think it's amazing—even if you think it's just okay—at least like it. 👍 Kya chala jayega? And agar accha nahi laga, toh BOL toh sakte ho! Matlab, silence is the worst. A writer can take criticism, but being ignored? That hurts more. 💔
Now I completely understand why some writers quit in between. It's because of readers like you—who can binge chapters, consume stories, but don't even have the courtesy to acknowledge the effort behind them. You want stories, updates, entertainment—but you don't want to give back even a second of appreciation?
Hundreds of views, but the comment section looks like a graveyard. ⚰️ Kuch toh sharam karo yaar. 😑
Mera interest day by day fade ho raha hai. And when one day, I stop updating altogether, don't come asking "What happened?" Because THIS happened. This silence. This ignorance. This lack of support.
So yeah, keep enjoying your free chapters while I sit here wondering if it's even worth it anymore. 🥲
I beg you guys, stop disappointing your writers like this. If you can read, you can react—it's as simple as that. 👍
And some of you? Even worse. Skipping through the parts where the story is actually explained—the notes, the introductions—kyun? Because you're only here for the smut? 😑 Matlab, story ka context gaya bhaad me, character development bhi nahi chahiye, bas romantic aur sex scenes dhoondhne hain? Waah, kya class hai! 👏 If that's all you care about, then just go and watch p*rn, na! No one's stopping you. Because let me be very clear—I am NOT a smut writer. I never claimed to be, never intended to be. I write stories where love means more than lust, where there's romance, connection, emotions, depth. But nah, some of you just skim through everything and only stop at "those" parts. Arrey, agar sirf wohi padna hai, toh koi adult novels kholke sirf highlighted words hi dhoondh lo na. Story ki toh izzat mat uthao at least. 😤
And then—the audacity! The same people turn around and blame writers for stopping updates halfway. Like, oh my god, why did this writer just disappear? 🤡
Arrey, koi reason to do writers ko post karne ka! 😡 Do you think anyone enjoys posting chapters into the void? Do you think it feels good to spend hours writing, only to see an empty comment section? Do you think it's fun to refresh your notifications and find nothing except one or two pity likes? IT. IS. EXHAUSTING.And let's talk about this classic nonsense I keep hearing:
🫠 "Your story is so good! I love your writing so much!"
💀 "You deserve more readers!"
🚶♀️ "This should be more popular!"Acha? Toh do na readers! Kaun dega? Mujhe pair pakad ke bolna padega kya—please meri book padh lo? 😒 No, YOU do it. You tell people. You drop a comment when you see reels of books. You recommend it. That's how books grow. 😡 It's not hard. Just drop a comment when you see book-related posts, mention stories you love, or literally just tell people that you enjoy this book. It takes 5 seconds.
Main bhi karti thi yeh sab, bohot log karte hain. When I loved a book, or a movie, I talked about it, I hyped it up, I recommended it, I made sure people gave it a try. That's how writers stay motivated.
But if all you're gonna do is silently consume, silently leave, and then complain when writers disappear—sorry, but you're part of the problem.
So yeah. Think about that. 😶
