Chapter IV

Today is my school day. O what a monotonous feeling, again in a place filled with unsatisfication. I can't stop thinking of Christyn. O Why do I feel damp and warm infront of her. I'm not in love but I like her,Really like her. I don't know why I feel a cold shoulder whenever I need her. But, I think she has a cold exterior & warm interior. I enter the library at the end of the day to actually find her sulking & fretting in her Book. I ask her
"Have you ever had fun".
"No Anna, I find enjoyment in a fanstastical world of books"
"Do you even have friends in general?" "No Anna, but I would be glad to be of aquaintance to you"
" Well it's settled"
"what's settled?"
"you are going out with me to dinner tonight"
Wait! Did I just say that.
"I agree Anna where should we meet" the words were already out before I could stop it and she already replied. Well nothing is holding back now. I reply
"at Pizza hut in BQ Mall at 5:00 should be good".
"OK Anna 5:00 it is" .
I can't believe it I actually asked her out on a date.Well, dinner exactly, but is still a date. I flush scarlet, I approach home & told Kate. She is both astounded & joyful.
" YOU ACTUALLY GOT A DATE WITH CHRISTYN GREY!!!!"
"Well, yah I guess"
"What's the big deal?"
"Girl, your going on a date with a prestegious spawn of a millionare!" "But, I warn you she is dangerous but good luck!"
Her last remarks before me dressing up. I go to Pizza hut to find her there sitting in a very ornate table.
"Take a seat, Anna"
I sit infront of her. I blush as I recognize What the fuck am I doing here.
"How do you live your life, Anna"
. A good question for starters Phew!
"I live my life by doing outside activities but I don't do people"
"Interesting"
My mouth waters at the menu. "Waiter!" She summons. "I would like to order Caesar's salad & the Hawaiian pizza" she orders.
"Any drinks ma'am" he asks.
"I would like iced tea".
"Any order from the young lady" he confronts.
I was about to speak when she says
"she would everything I have except the pizza, we wouldn't have 2 pizzas can we".
"Yes ma'am, as you wish" he says.
We go back to the conversation
"Tell me more about yourself"
.I while away in her gray eyes & tousseled copper hair yanking me out of my daydream.
"Well, I was born here raised in Cebu, traveled to Spain where my dad comes from & I am a sporty individual"
"Hmm"
"Do you like books, Anna?"
"Well, yes".
"What kind of books do you like?"
"romantic & teen fiction, How about you".
"My books are best kept secret Anna"
"I told you mine, so tell me more about you"
"I was born in Seattle, Washington wen't here because of business. My Dad & Mom are in Seattle but I could live by myself because of my apartment. They pay the rent. I both work & live there alone. With some employees of course". Wow, what a family they leave their child without external care & welfare. What kind of family is this? The pizza , salad and iced teas are here. We eat a hearty meal. "Thank you for paying for the meal Christyn" she brags "No problem, I am a hyper-millionare". I come home with Kate asleep I study for the finals.
