Harry P.O.V.
Ginny, Hermione and myself sat down at dinner with the exchange students. Classes were the same as always and I haven't been attacked yet, so that was an upside. Moody was a pretty cool teacher, especially when Malfoy was turned into Ferret form. We always had a laugh at that. Suddenly, there was a big sound outside. People started to get up, and go to the doors. Ginny also got up and I followed her and Hermione. The exchange students followed us and soon we were lined up at the windows, a carriage led by winged horses floated through the sky, and gently landed. Dumbledore rushed out and the door swung open.
A giant lady stepped forward. Dumbledore held out a hand and she gracefully took it and stepped down. A bunch of girls in blue filed out. They were shivering in their thin coats. I could see some boys resisting the temptation to give some of the girls their coats. I was also resisting a small nagging in the back of my mind, but I usually ignored the little voices in my head. They were never a good sign.
As everyone watched the mysterious girls, there was a splashing coming from the Black Lake. I turned around and saw a huge ship arising from the water. Percy looked mesmerized by the water, which I thought was weird.
The Hogwarts students watched from the sides of the windows as the French ladies and the buff men passed and filed into the the Great Hall.
The Hogwarts students sat down as the other schools sat down at other tables. The French ladies sat at the Ravenclaw and the buff dudes sat at Slytherin. Dumbledore got up and said,
"Welcome, students! Hogwarts, meet Beauxbatons-"
Dumbledore pointed to the French ladies.
     "And Durmstrang-"
He pointed to the buff guys.
"As you all are wondering, they are here for the Triwizard Tournament!-"
"Oh my god!! Last time they had that competition people died!!" Hermione exclaimed.
"Due to the unfortunate events of the last Tournament, only people seventeen or older are allowed to enter. I will be drawing an age line so no exceptions will be taken. Filch?" Dumbledore waited for Filch to carry out a rather odd shaped goblet.
"This is the Goblet of Fire! If you wish to enter, at your own risk, then write your name on a slip of paper along with your school and drop it in this goblet. Tomorrow, Halloween, one Witch or Wizard will be chosen from each school. Thank you and enjoy the feast."
Dumbledore sat down and everyone dug in.
~~Time Lapse to after dinner~~
Harry sat with Ginny and Hermione watching people put their names in the Goblet of Fire. When George and Fred came out with aging potions, Hermione said in a sing songy way,
     "It not going to wo-rk!"
  "And-
  "Why-
  "Would-
  "That-
"Be?" They said the last word together.
Hermione said,
"I'm sure Dumbledore, the most powerful Wizard alive, thought of irresponsible 6th years like you two."
She shook her head as they took their potions anyways. They put their names in the Goblet and high-fived each other.
Suddenly they were thrown backwards. I burst out laughing when I saw them. They had grown long white beards that could rival Dumbledore's. Dumbledore then walked in and chuckled at the two twins.
"Nice beards boys, but you might want to see Madam Pomfrey."
They got up sheepishly and started to walk away with Lee Jordan's laugh's echoing through the hallways.
"I gotta go do my Potions essay." I groaned as I got up.
      "Me too." Ginny said.
We went upstairs and started their essays. After about two hours they finished. Ginny put hers in her bag and said,
"I'm going to turn in." She walked up and I started to go to my dorm when Percy walked in and called him back down.
"Hey, dude, who makes the food in the Great Hall? That is some serious cooking right there."
     I laughed and said,
"Tomorrow, I'll take you to the kitchens to see who does the magic."
"Thanks man!" Percy clapped his hand on my shoulder. They went up and I fell asleep quickly after and fell into a dreamless sleep.
The next morning I snuck Percy and Leo into the kitchens. Percy stared his mouth agape at all the food.
"Hey little guys!! Great food!!" Percy exclaimed.
"Harry Potter!!" I heard a little squeal and saw Dobby running toward me.
"Harry Potter!! Dobby has gotten a job at Hogwarts!! Dumbledore pays Dobby one galleon a week and Dobby gets two vacations days a month! Dobby is finally a free elf!"
"That's great Dobby I'm so glad! Can we have some breakfast down here please?" I asked him.
"Anything for Harry Potter, sir!" Dobby eagerly replied.
Soon enough we were all eating and had to get to our classes.
"Thanks Dobby! It was nice seeing you!" I told Dobby before we left.
"Bye Harry Potter! Will you visit Dobby again soon?"
     "Of course Dobby!"
I left with Percy and Leo and we went to our classes.
~~Time Lapse to People getting Chosen out of the Goblet Of Fire~~
I sat with Ginny and Hermione and Hazel, Percy, and Leo. Dumbledore got up and said,
"In a few moments the Goblet will let out three slips of paper. The chosen Witches and Wizards will go down through this door."
Dumbledore pointed toward a big door off to the side of the teachers table.
     "The first champion is-"
The Goblet let off red sparks as it spit out a piece of parchment.
"Victor Krum from Durmstrang!"
Dumbledore yelled to the crowd that was cheering loudly for Victor.
The Goblet turned red again and spit out another piece of parchment.
"The Beauxbatons champion is Fleur Delacour!"
Beauxbatons cheered for Fleur very loudly and she followed Victor through the doors. There were a few ladies that were crying because they weren't chosen.
The Goblet turned red and spit out a final piece of parchment.
      "The Hogwarts champion is-"
     Dumbledore paused for dramatic effect.
     "Cedric Diggory!!" He yelled.
The Hufflepuff table erupted in cheers. They were the loudest. You could barley hear Ron yell,
  "No!"
No one heard him though and Ginny smacked him hard in the arm and continued to cheer for Cedric.
Dumbledore was just starting to say something else when the Goblet turned red and emitted red sparks. The whole hall fell silent as Dumbledore caught the one slip of paper.
     "Harry Potter."
