Everyone Deserves A Happy Ending **In Editing**

Chapter 8

*Later that night*

At some point, Ashley had to get out of the bunk and let the other guys in so they could go to bed. When he did, I was still sleeping, but I woke up halfway. I felt him lean on the bunk. He was talking to Jinxx.

"Dude, please forgive me. I didn't know."

"Ya right. You know me."

"But what I didn't know is you guys 'did it'. Andy checked on you guys when we got home but he didn't say anything except you guys were sleeping. And when you guys came out, Raylee was walking normally. It didn't seem like you guys....You know."

"Well we did. And again, you know me. You should have known that Andy wouldn't have told you we had sex. And he was probably pissed, you seriously didn't notice!?!?" He whisper yelled.

"I thought it was about the fact that you guys were sleeping in the same bunk."

"No....It wasn't, Jinxx."

"Ok...Well I know that now. You know I'm sorry dude, why won't you let it go???"

"Because you hurt her."

"Technically, CC hurt her."

"Ya, but you're the one who brought her over to CC."

"But you're the one who couldn't just say that you guys had sex."

"Because I figured you guys would know!!!" Ashley snapped, raising his voice a little more.

Then Andy's voice cut in. "Both of you shut up. Jinxx, there was a reason I didn't tell you guys because I didn't want you guys harassing Ashley and Rie about it, Ashley, I agree with you.Jinxx, you should have known Ashley and knew that he would have slept with her. Even I could see it coming that while we were gone they would sleep together, now shut up and go to bed!!!"

I heard him climb into his bunk and I heard Jinxx climb into his. Then the bathroom door opened and Ashley said "Damn CC, she really kicked you hard."

"Ya...I guess I kind of deserved it thought...Night."

"Ni- CC...You know you have a bruise on your back too? Right?"

"Ya...I know, its from were I hit the couch...Hurts like a bitch."

I heard his curtain slide shut as Ashley climbed into his bunk and slid his curtain shut.

*Around 11:30 the next morning*

The next morning I woke up to Ashley gently shaking me awake. I groaned and rolled over, but the pain made me let out a small screech and curl up. I felt wrap his arms around me again and lay back down. I turned slowly over so I was facing him. I buried my face in his chest, which now had a shirt covering it....Rare...I chuckled to myself and just as I was about to fall asleep again when I felt Ashley moving. He rolled over and I heard Andy's voice.

"Dude, how much longer is she going to sleep? We need to talk to her....And you...."

"She was awake  while ago, but I don't think she wants to wake up and talk about this right now. I don't think she wants to do much of anything but sleep right now Andy."

"I know, but dude. You're 19, almost 20 she's 16....maybe almost 17. This isn't legal I don't think. I don't want you going to jail. I don't want her to be hurt."

Then, the bus jolted so hard it sent everybody flying forward. Ashley and I hit the wall and Andy was laying on the floor....Out in the living room. Everything had jumped like 10 feet forward. The pain in my lower abdomen was intense now. It burned and I think I might have screamed when I hit the wall. I was definitely crying now. I was crying really hard.

Andy shouted "Is everyone ok?"

There was a series of groans, but they all meant yes.

Ashley was holding me tight and he shouted "I am, not too sure about Rie."

All of a sudden everyone was at Ashley's bunk. I was in so much pain right now. I had my face burried in Ashley's chest and he was rubbing my back. It was soothing, but didn't really help. The bus was still completely stopped.

The driver yelled back "There's a freak accident guys, gonna be stopped for a while." There was a series of groans and everyone turned their attention back to me. Ashley still wouldn't let the guys see me, and honestly, I didn't want them to. I didn't want Jinxx or CC to see me, even though they didn't know, but it was Andy's fault that they didn't know....But they should have known knowing Ashley. Jake, I don't know why I didn't want to see him. I just didn't. After a while, I finally stopped crying and Ashley got up. He shut the curtain when he left and I laid on my side facing the curtain. I was starting to fall asleep, but I didn't want to. I heard the TV turn on and Jake cautiously called me.

"Raylee....You might wanna come see this." I groaned and rolled out of bed.

I walked out into the living room and heard the news reporter talking, ".....and on i296 there has been a major accident involving 2 semis and a  mini van. Inside the mini van was an older couple by the names of Barbara and Bob Payne. *Picture shows on TV screen* They died on impact. That's all we have on the story." The rest was a blur. Those were my grandparents. 30 feet in front of us, lying dead on the highway. My knees went weak. The room started spinning. I fell to the floor, screaming, tears pouring from my eyes. Now I had nothing. Ashley was next to me on the floor, holding me and rocking me back and forth. We stayed like that for about 3 hours before I finally cried myself to sleep.
