I walked up to my house with 2 cops following behind me. It was 1:30 am and I had been caught for the 4th time being drunk. I was at another party that was illegally serving alcohol. My grandparents opened the door and had an expecting look on their faces. I stumbled into the house and they thanked the officers and shut the door. They started yelling at me but what they said was a blur of words and I didn't listen. I stumbled up to my room and slammed the door, locking it. I striped down to my bra and underwear, then flopped into bed. I fell asleep.
When I woke up in the morning I had a splitting headache and reeked of beer and smoke. I picked up my clothes off the floor and threw them down the laundry chute then stepped into the shower. I got out about 10 minutes later and straightened my hair pin straight and applied my eyeliner. I put on a white shirt with a pair of jeans and my old pair of converse. My hair was naturally black which I was grateful of. I had pale blue eyes and fair skin. I was pretty short and but I was fun to be around. I was a party animal. When I wasn't at work, school or grounded, I was at a party. I was crazy. Out of control. A wild child. One of the main reasons I went to parties was to see if I could meet other guys that were as wild as I was. I was a hopeless romantic. I wanted more than anything to have a nice boyfriend who would treat me like a princess.
I walked down stairs and saw my grandparents waiting at the table.
I made a B-line for the stairs to go lock myself back up in my room but my grandmother said "Raylee. Stay. We have to talk to you."
I rolled my eyes and turned around. I sat down at the table and my grandfather began.
"Raylee. You are too out of control. We are grounding you until you're 18. No and's, if's or but's. Our decision stands final. No parties. The only time you leave the house will be to go to the store, school or to your job. Thats it. Give me your phone, iPod and all your CD's, including your Black Veil Brides CD. You can have them back when you're 18 and we can trust you." I stood up, sending my seat flying across the floor.
I shouted "WHAT?!?! YOU CAN'T FUCKING DO THAT!!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MUSIC!!!! ESPECIALLY BLACK VEIL BRIDES!!! THEY ARE MY LIFE SAVERS!!!! I'M NOT GIVING YOU MY CD's!!!!"
"You will not tell us what to do!!! We are older than you and your legal guardians! Give me everything!" He shouted back.
Our screaming at each other went on for about another 5 minutes before I shouted "I HATE YOU GUYS!!! I WISH I HAD DIED IN THE CRASH WITH MY MOM AND DAD!!!" I ran upstairs and slammed the door and locked it. I paced my room crying. This was normal for me and it would only last about 2 minutes at the most. I was done here. I pulled a canvas bag out of my closet and started throwing my rattiest clothes, which were still nice, into the bag and I threw in both pairs of my shoes and my brush and straightener. I threw in my phone and charger along with my iPod and its charger. I packed all of my CD's, Black Veil Brides first because I was starting to run out of room, and then I looked around my room one last time. I remembered the money I saved up that i had hidden under my mattress from babysitting, dog walking, and my job. It was about 3 or 4 hundred dollars. I hid it in one of my shoes in the bag. I set my alarm for 8:45 pm and laid down in my bed and fell asleep.
