We've all been there. We've all done that. We all know what's it's like to start off, and believe it or not, it's not easy!
Starting off, you'll be at your first home stable, Moorland. Of course, you can change this when you start unlocking more places.
Some of the most frequent messages we get are from starters, usually saying stuff like "people are bullying me because I just started" and stuff like that. Remember, Star Stable does not whatsoever tolerate bullying. Please use the ignore feature located in-game when you click on someone's name. There is then a drop down, and ignore is one of them. You will not be able to see this player, or his/her chats. You can always unignore anyone by going to friends, and clicking the second tab labeled ignore, click their name, and click "delete."
You will begin with your starter horse. This is your horse.. You will get a lot as you keep going on with the game, but your starter horse will always be the one you share a close connection with; a bond that none of the other horses have to offer and this is simply due to the fact that he's a starter, meaning he's your first horse. Kinda special, huh?
The currency used on Star Stable is Star Coins & Jorvik Shillings. Jorvik Shillings can be collected by anyway, by doing races, or perhaps stable chores and quests! They are rather easy to collect. Star Coins are given when you start off, and then after that, only Star Riders are given a 100 star coin allowance every Saturday morning. There is no other way to get Star Coins, beside purchasing them online in star coin packs, which-- yes, are "real money."
When you have enough star coins and Jorvik shillings, what do you do with them? There are endless possibilities. Maybe some tack for your horse? Maybe some clothes? Clothes are sold all around Jorvik for different prices each. Horses are also sold almost everywhere.
Sadly, there are no horses for sale at Moorland, your home stable. To begin your collection, do your daily quests and unlock Fort Pinta, which is where there are ponies and horses for sale! Horses are only sold for Star Coins. Some horses require you to be on a certain level; meaning if you are not on that level that the horse requires you to be on, you are not able to purchase it. (Yes, you may be on a higher level)
But more horses means more responsibility. You have to keep your horses happy and healthy every day or their feelings become worse and worse, the more days you don't care and feed for them. You are given a water bucket (which you can run out of, simply go to a water well located at many places and stables and fill it up by dragging it to the well dismounted) hay (you can run out of hay, meaning then you have to purchase it for a reasonable fee) and grooming brush and hoof pick.
There are certain places you can preform these actions. Only by home stables. When you go to your horses avatar picture on the top left of the screen, and there should be circling green circles and the hay, water, hoof pick and grooming brush on there if it is an area where you can do these actions. If not, go somewhere you can and care & feed for them.
But what happens if you're on vacation, for example, and you can't care or you simply don't want to? No need to worry about your friends on vacation! That's why it's called vacation, right?
When you enter your home stable, wherever it may be, go all the way to the side of it, where the horses are located. The last stall? By that, there is like a mini-desk. When you click it, there will be a few different options. You want to click the "Stable Care Help Option." And what this feature does is a girl comes to your barn everyday for the amount of days you set it to and cares for your horses for 7sc a day. Pretty cool, huh? Remember, do this if you are not able to come on or your horses will become sick and have bad moods.. And bad moods take a few days of going on and feeding to bring back up. And the worse the mood you're horse is in, the worse he will preform; he'll run slower, and won't be as energetic.
