-Percy-
I seriously don't know how Nico did it. He just wrote a scene about two guys making out on the spot in hopes of me leaving to go to sleep?
Well, it worked.
And thanks to him I got more sleep than I've had in a weeks. Thankfully the next day was Saturday, which meant I could get up as late as I planned. I didn't have anything on, no people to meet up with, no places to go, only a date with my bed.
Or, so I thought.
"Get up, Percy! How could you forget tonight of all things?" Annabeth exclaimed right down my ear, pulling back the covers and leaving me exposed to the harsh world outside.
"Forget what? What time is it?" I grimaced, rubbing my eyes and sitting up, squinting at my pissed off girlfriend.
The said girlfriend was looking beautiful. Her curly blonde hair was worn loose, and she wore dark, smoky makeup that made her stormy grey eyes pop. She wore a snug, dark dress adorned with tiny silver jewels around the plunging neckline that came up to around her mid thighs, black tights and cut out black heels.
My jaw dropped.
"Where are you going dressed like that?" I spluttered, sitting up to attention.
Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "It's seven o'clock, Percy. You slept the entire day. As for where we're going, Piper's throwing a party, remember? We have to be there."
"Have to be there?" I looked down, rubbing the back of my neck. "Do I really have to go? Piper's parties are a little...wild."
"That's why we're going." Annabeth scoffed. "She's counting on us, Percy. We can't let her down."
"But-"
"But nothing." Annabeth said sternly, sitting down next to me. "You're going."
"I'm sick." I blurted out. "Fever. I forgot to tell you. That's why I slept most of today, y'know, no energy and all."
Annabeth leaned forward and pressed the back of her hand to my forehead. Her eyebrow arched as she pulled away. "You're not warm."
I coughed. "Still got a bad throat."
"Cough sweets exist."
I sniffed up, swiping the back of my hand under my nose. "That runny nose won't go away."
"So bring a pack of tissues."
I moaned, falling back into the pillows. "Stomach ache."
"For the love of God, Percy!" Annabeth cried, standing up and throwing her hands in the air like she just didn't care. "Take a paracetamol then! I'm not going to that party alone."
I pouted, widening my eyes ever so slightly. "Then stay with me."
Annabeth spluttered. "And miss the party of the year? She's my best friend, Percy. She'll kill me if I miss it. Please, do this for me just once. It's all I'm asking."
"Annabeth," I sighed, rubbing my temples. "I-"
I was cut off as my phone beeped. I looked down and saw it was a text from Nico. My heart involuntarily did a double take. He texted me first.

n: hey percy, you sleep alright?xI looked up and sighed faux sadly. Annabeth tilted her head to the side.
