Chapter 6: Guess Who's Back?

- 1 hour before award show -
*Emma*
I got my makeup done and my hair ready after an hour of prepping for the show. I wore a subtle red lipstick with some bit of mascara and filled in my eyebrows in as the rest of my makeup was a natural. My hair parted in the middle and just blow dried wearing my hair done. I put some hoop silver earrings on and a silver diamond bracelet. My fingers were painted a day before as French tips.
"So are you about ready?" Selena screamed from down stairs becoming impatient.
"Yeah in a sec!" I yelled back putting on some final touches and then getting my purse.
"Well hurry up because that someone is finally here and he's late, like usual!" Selena yelled back as I rushed to get downstairs quickly.
"Calm down I'm right here!" I said to her when I reached the bottom of the stairwell.
"Then answer the door!" Selena said motioning to the door.
"You didn't think to let him in?" I asked giving her a dirty look.
"I don't know him that well and he broke your heart a while back and I can't forgive him as easily you have." Selena said walking into the other room leaving me to open the front door for our guest.
I opened the door with all smiles expecting him by himself but of course I was wrong.
"Hey Em. Nice to see you! You know the boys." Beau said entering into my house as soon as I opened the door.
Beau Brooks is a prankster bad boy known for being in the Janoskians as they do crazy silly shit on YouTube which made them famous. They also sing, having made a couple of pretty catchy songs that were popular. But what really helped their fame was that Jai, Beau's younger brother, had dated Arianna Grande in the past which made me meet Beau. Beau and I dated in the past as well but we ended that relationship on a sour note. It wasn't either of our decisions to end it and by the time Beau realized he had screwed up, I was already over it dating Harry. Later Beau and I became friends which turned into close friends. I'm going with him to the award show because I secretly want to make Harry jealous of what I have. Beau agreed to it so we are going with it.
"Ari isn't here, is she?" Jai asked me which I knew he didn't want to see her face seen they'd broke up.
"No, we aren't really that close anymore." I explain to him which made him seem a bit more at eased.
I hadn't seen the guys in like forever. When Beau and I dated I saw them a couple of times but I was never around when they did silly stupid challenges or when they did bonding things.
The rest of the boys came in and went straight to the kitchen even though they hadn't been to my house at all. That left Beau and I standing in the front door entrance.
"Wow you look beautiful!" Beau complimented me as he checked me out looking down and up.
"You don't look to bad yourself." I said smiling a little at how Beau always looked like a bad boy no matter what he wore.
Beau was wearing a button down long sleeve  jean jacket with a black t-shirt under it and black skinny jeans that were ripped with some skater boy shoes. He was wearing sunglasses and a pair of his favorite snap backs but turned to the back.
"So what does this mean for us now that I'm accompanying you to the award show? Because you know what they are going to say." Beau asked which I did know, they would say that Beau and I are back to together and rumors would be out. Maybe it's not so bad.
"I know. I mean what do you think?" I asked not wanting Beau to be in the middle of some drama that he could potentially back out of.
"All I want?" Beau started as he got near me and drew me in to him with his hands at my waist inches away from our bodies touching as I noticed that I was a bit taller than him in high heels. "I want you!" He finished as he gave me a short but sweet kiss.
"The real question is, whether your up for it or not." Beau asked letting go on me.
"You know it's hard for me whether I would want to be with you or not. I just don't want to end of relationship like last time." I said looking down at the floor as it was tough for me to get over that. Harry was technically my rebound boyfriend but I don't really think that way because if that were true then all my bf except my first would be rebounds.
"So are we a thing?" Beau asked shyly which wasn't like him.
"I guess. Let's just see where we go." I said looking into his eyes as he had taken off his sunglasses. I walked up next to him and Beau laced his fingers into mine as we walking together into the kitchen.
"Oooo! Look what we have here! Two lovebirds!" James said
in a high pitched voice at least I thought it was James, it could've been one of Beau's brothers.
"Oh shut the fuck up will you!" Beau said to them blushing a bit but he still held my hand in his. In the past Beau would let go of my hand when we were near his friends. This is definitely a change of events.
"So are we ready? You guys coming with Beau and Em or are you going without?" Selena asked the Janoskians other than Beau.
"Well go by ourselves. Won't be that bad." Skip said in a cheerful voice.
"Then let's go!" Selena cheered as everyone followed her lead out to the cars.
