THE wind blew her bangs out of her face, as well as filling the car with a gust of wind. she zoned out before she had even realized where they arrived, too busy day dreaming, as usual.

"suzu, fix your hair, won't you?" a voice spoke, which snapped her out of it.

she glanced over, her gaze catching her friend, michiko. she heard her sigh quietly, before reaching out to run her fingers through her hair, straighten it. "you should look presentable for this mission, it might be our biggest yet." she said, before moving out of the backseat and getting out of the car.

suzu quickly followed, as she got out, shutting the door behind her. she followed her peers over, as they stood before the abandoned village. the eerie vibe could be felt from a mile away, especially with the fog.

"there's no say on what grade the cursed spirit may be, given that our window hasn't been responding." the assistant supervisor explained, as she stared ominously into the distance. she turned back to the three, as she stayed focus. "find the curse and exorcise-- simple as that."

the three of them nodded, confirming that they knew what their mission was. it was simple as that.

"good luck." she said. the assistant supervisor walked a short distance away, before placing a veil over the village. it encaged them in, as well as the cursed spirit wandering in this abandoned town.

another peer, tetsu sighed. "alright, let's move out." he murmured, as he began to walk ahead of the two girls.

michiko laughed, seeing how he was taking charge. "mizuhara, you dont have to act all tough in front of us. we know how much of a wimp you are." she teased, as she couldnt contain her laughter.

tetsu turned his head back to glance at her, he was a bit embarrassed by being called out, but he ran a hand through his hair-- seeming stressed. "lets just get this over with." he groaned.

the more they walked into the town, the more.. tranquil it seemed. it was hard to believe a curse was present. michiko however, she seemed slightly bored, as no spirit was seen yet.

"this really sucks, I wish I was ae-sun right now." she sighed, as she looked up at the veil covered sky.

suzu glanced over, as she tilted her head. "why's that?" she questioned, curiosity filling her tone.

"well, she's semi-grade two, so she gets to laze around more." michiko answered, her tone holding some envy. "I mean she had the choice to go with us, but decided to stay behind and lock herself in her room." she said, as she shrugged. "typical."
