15 days (on hold)

Chapter:1 Coffee shop

"Linsay, focus" Grace said snapping her fingers.

"Hello, earth to Lindsay" Hope jumped in.

"W-what" I looked up at Grace and Hope. Grace Carter and Hope West had been my best friends since 7th grade when my rien of the class came to an end. Every year there is a girl everyone bends over backwards to be near. That was me with my blonde hair and hazel eyes. But that was six years ago.

"We were talking about hanging out at my place tomorrow." Hope said smiling with a weird look on her face. Grace nodded in agreement.

"Oh... ok yeah" I agreed. Hope moved out and got her own apartment as soon as she was able.

"Great i'll see you guys tomorrow." Hope said as she got up and left. Grace left shortly after. I sat in the coffee shop for a few more minutes before walking out to the parking lot. When I opened my door to get in Peyton Sanders, my ex best friend and enemy, pulled up next to me.

"Well well well,look what the wind blew in."

" Good to see you too Peyton."

"I didn't say it was good to see you, but whatever." And with that she turned around and stalked off. On any other day I would have let it slide but I wasn't thinking clear.

"There is thing called manners Peyton, you should try them sometime." I yelled at her and drove off.

When I got home I could see something sitting on the porch. I walked over and a box with fifteen days was written on it. I looked for a return address but I couldn't find one.

"It was probably Grace or Hope," I mumbled unlocking the front door. I turned on the lights and walked to the fridge. When I got out my ice cream i noticed a note taped on with 15 days written on it. Weird I thought as I got a spoon and a bowl. I took my phone out of my pocket and called Hope.

"Hello,"Hope said with sleep drifting in her voice.

"Did you leave a box on my porch or a note on my ice cream?" I questioned her while stirring my ice cream.

"No, call Grace maybe she put it there."

"Ok thanks anyway. I will see you tomorrow." I hung up and dialed Grace.

"Hello," Grace answered with music blaring in the background.

"I was wondering if you left a box on my front porch or put a note on my ice cream that says 15 days?"

"Nope, bring them tomorrow to Hope's house."

"Ok goodnight."

Thank you guys for reading this. I just started writing so plenty of mistakes but hang with me. Also these first couple chapters are really short but I will try and make them longer.
