Disappeared

3: Are We There Yet?

The first hour was the toughest, Marley and Hope had to wake up at 3:00 to get everything ready and it was 6:00am and they were already so tired.

"Are we there yet?" Hope whined

"Hope, 11 year olds have done this! You two are fifteen you should have no such problem doing this" Daxton informed

"My legs hurt really bad" Marley complained

"We still have a long ways to go" Allison yelled from ahead of them

"Wow, Daxton you look like a professional have you done this before?" Hope asked

"Once when I was younger but only to camp 1"

The 4 of them followed Jeffery along with about 20 other group members.

"Hey I'm Hailey" a girl said walking beside Hope and Marley

"Hey I'm Hope and this is my twin sister Marley" Hope informed

"Is this your first time climbing?" Marley asked

"Unfortunately no, my crazy aunt Kieza once a year takes me and my mom on this trip with her" Hailey replied

"How far have you made it up?" Hope asked

"We have only been as far up as camp 2 and that's were our final destination will be this time"

"This is our first time" Marley said

"Cool! it's always the best going up the first time, so what brings you up?" she replied

"We want to pay our final respects to our father who suddenly disappeared a few weeks ago" Hope sighed

"Oh, I'm sorry it must be so tough I couldn't even imagine the pain your going through"

Hope noticed that through Hailey's long thick brown hair there was a pink strip.

"I like your hair" Hope said pointing at the pink streak

"Thanks, I just got it, did you know that pink is the symbol for unconditional love"

"No but that's cool"

"I got it to remember that no matter how far or if they have passed that you will always have unconditional love"

"Inspiring" Marley responded

The 3 girls chatted there whole way up about school to work to anything they could think of

"One time me and Hope almost got kicked out of Walmart trying to go inside the ball pen" Marley laughed

Hailey laughed "You guys are rebels! You two are so, so awesome!"

"ALMOST THERE" Jeffery yelled from the front of the pack

"Wow where has the time gone? It's already 5:00pm!" Hailey cheered

"I'm going to be so sore tomorrow" Hope said

"Me too!" Marley replied

When they got to the camp Hope and Marley set up their tent. They followed Jeffery to all the supplied they will need tomorrow. Hope and Marley went back to their tent and layed down when they overheard Daxton and Allison talking.

"It's almost complete" Allison whispered

"I can't wait" Daxton replied

"What could they mean Hope?" Marley asked

"I'm not sure probably just exited to almost be in camp 2" Hope replied

Hope and Marley both fell asleep and dreamt about reaching their goal there father would have been so proud of them.
