Michael groaned and he groggily opened his eyes. As he began to collect himself he saw that he was no longer under the overhang, but instead he saw the faces of three ugly humanoids standing at a pot. Their skin was gray and wrinkled and their bodies were twice as large as a normal mans, all of them were hairless except for long, multiple stands of scraggly, raven colored hair. "Giants!" He yelped.

The three Giants turned around and Michael instinctively acted like he was asleep. He cracked open his left eye soon after and saw that they had turned back around. He searched around for his sister and found her hung upside down on a stick along with Elaine. He felt someone nudge his shoulder and when he turned his head to find out who it was he found Joker tied up on the ground next to him. "Hey, prince."

"What the hell is going on?"

"Well... I'm a bit embarrassed to say that they got us while we were sleeping... I was on lookout duty and dozed off ha, ha."

Michael let out a sigh. "That is so lame." Michael shifted uncomfortably. "What are we supposed to do now?"

Joker stared at him for a moment and for some reason Michael could tell that he was frowning under his mask. "Now that you're awake I can put my plan into action."

"Plan?"

"Yes, but first we need to get your sword." Joker motioned over towards the horses which were tied to a wooden post. Their supplies were on the ground in front of the horses.

Michael was about to ask something, but was cut off when Joker started grunting and his hand started shaking rapidly. "What the hell are you doing?!" He exclaimed in a whisper.

Joker stopped grunting. "Tch, still haven't developed the F@&$*"

"The what? And why did your last word get cut off."

"Oh, copy right issues, don't worry your pretty little head about it." Joker suddenly brought out his two snakelike tentacles and moved them over their ropes. "Looks like we'll have to go with plan B."

"Why didn't you do this before?"

"Cause that's a lame way to break out of ropes, now when I cut them I'll rush over to the Giants and take the ones on the right and left, you go grab your sword and take on the middle one." Joker muttered.

"Wait a minute! Me fight a giant!?"

"Hey quit complaining I'm fighting two." Joker shot back. "Besides if you can't even take down one giant, how do you expect to rule a country and keep them safe?" Michael fell silent.

Joker grinned. "One, two, three, four, if you aren't ready." Joker paused as he cut the ropes. "Sucks to be you." With blinding speed he headed towards the Giants and jumped high into the air. His hand suddenly covered in a dark mist, similar to his tentacles, and he struck the giant on the left of the pot in the face. The giant was thrown back with such force that when it fell to the ground with a resounding thud the earth cracked. Everyone who was conscious stared at Joker with shocked expressions.

Michael scrambled towards his sword and picked it up just in time to see Joker kick the second giant across the face. The last giant roared at him as his two companions got back up. "Hey!" Joker shouted before pointing at Michael. "Middle giant dude! That guy called you a fugley piece of dragon dung!"

"What!" Michael yelled as the middle giant turned his attention to him. He was to furious with Joker to realize the giant was already bounding towards him. The giant raised his giant club and swung it down upon Michael who held up his sword to block it. His legs turned to jelly as the sheer force of the Giant's swing was almost to much for him to handle.
