Chapter 3: Terra Nova

We reached Terra Nova at dusk and Commander Taylor gave us the "Welcome To Terra Nova" speech. When Taylor was done we walked to him and I asked "Commander Taylor sir. Sophie and I would like to room together seeing as though we were the only solo travelers on this pilgrimage and we probably couldn't afford rent solo." "Well I guess that could be allowed seeing as though Sam and Flora @JazzySpazzyx live together," Taylor responded. "Really, thanks Commander," I said in some oddly excited way. "Your home will be beside Sam and Flora's right on the other side of the street as the Shannon's. "Thank you sir," I said as Sophie and I left. "Wow, I can't believe he let us live together," Sophie stated astonished. "Yeah I didn't think he would let us," I said equally surprised. "You know James this place, is way more beautiful than I imagined," Sophie said while taking a deep breath. "You're right, it is beautiful," I said smiling. "Anyway we should see who's hiring, especially because we split rent," Sophie said. "Yeah we probably should," I said after. "I think I'll see if they are hiring at the medical clinic," Sophie told me. "Cool I think I'll go to Boylan's he's almost always hiring," I responded. "Sounds good," Sophie said. I walked to Boylan's and asked for a job. "Yeah you can have a job but on one condition," Boylan started. "What's the condition," I asked. "That you pay for your drinks when you get them, if you buy any drinks. You understand what I mean," Boylan asked. I laughed and said,"Yeah I got it."
