"Wow this looks great," Jim Shannon said as Sophie and I brought out lasagna and vegetables. "Thanks but Sophie did most of the work," I said. "Well it still looks amazing," Elisabeth said politely. "So how did you two end up living together," Sam asked. ""Pretty much the same as you guys, we were the only solo travelers so we decided to see if we could room together," I said. "And we both figured it would be easier than having to pay rent solo," Sophie added. "So Sophie what are you interested in," Elisabeth asked. "Mostly medical in the surgery field," Sophie responded. "And James what about you," Jim asked me. "Well right now I'm a bartender and I enjoy it because I meet a lot of soldiers and people," I said with an odd honesty. "Well if you want to be a sheriff I could train you an you could work with me," Jim said with a smile. "Really?" I asked. "Sure, just let me know," Jim said. "I would love to do that," I said with a smile. "Great you start tomorrow," Jim said. "Thanks Mr. Shannon," I said. We all talked and ate and overall enjoyed the night. I got a better job that night and tomorrow I started. I was completely terrified but then I realized that Mr. Shannon wouldn't kill me on the first day, but the second I was unsure of.
