Chapter 1

I'm new to Lincoln Highschool. I don't know what to expect. I have to edmit, I was kind of scared to see what would happen the first day I walk into the school. Lucky me, today is the first day. This is my life story. Brutal, but at the end, I loved it.

Gabby's P.O.V
I was putting my hair in a cute bun when my friend crawled through my now open window.

"Com'on gabby! We have to go!"

"I just met you and your already crawling through my window?" I laughed

"I'm your only friend so far, and we are best friends, fix that." She said laughing with me

"I can't go yet, I don't know what shoes to wear."

"If your going to last in Lincoln just wear combat boots or something like that. Anyway it will look good with that outfit." She said looking at me up and down.

I was wearing black ripped jeans and a Sleeping With Sirens Shirt. I pulled on my black combat boots and grabbed my backpack.

"Well you rushed me. Lets go." I said laughing and grabbing her arm.

"Hunny have-" my mom smiled when she saw my friend. "Hi Sammy." She said

"Hi Mrs. Thomas. Its Sam." She said, mumbling the last part of her sentence

"Ok Sam." My mom said laughing

Me and Sam jumped into her car and she drove to the school.

"I'm so excited to show you the school!" She screamed blasting the radio.

I nodded and sang along with the music.

When we finally made it to the school I grabbed my bag and jumped out the car. I shut the door and waited for Sam.

When she got out the car she looked at me. "Well you don't need to break my car door." She laughed

"I didn't break it you dumb butt." I said and she rolled her eyes.

We started walking up to the school when she got pushed to the side.

"Hey back off." She said and the boy looked at us.

"Sorry." He said laughing. "Who is she?" He asked gesturing towards me

I'm guessing he knows her. I don't know...

"She is my friend, and she is new to the school." She said as we walked with him.

"Hi I'm Gabby." I said smiling and he smiled back.

"Hey. I'm Michael. Um. What's your first class?" He asked

"Uh, let me look." I said grabbing my schedule. "Science." I said and a smile appeared on his face.

"Can I walk with you?" He asked and I looked at sam. She shrugged so I looked back at him and nodded.

We quickly went our separate ways to put our stuff in our lockers but then quickly met up again.

We started walking down the hallway without talking. It was kind of awkward but ill be ok.

"So where did you move from? Well I'm guessing you moved." He asked breaking the silence.

"Ohio." I said and he nodded

"Cool." He said and I laughed

"What's so funny?" He said smiling

"We are acting so awkward. I'm not used to it, I usually talk a lot with whomever I meet."

"Me too. Maybe we shouldn't be awkward."

"Ok well how do you want to do that?"

"Act like yourself."

"Pshh. I am. And if you get really close to me. Well then good luck." I laughed

"I bet I'm worse then you." He said and we stopped walking and stood in the hallway

"How much do you bet?" I said and he smiled

"Looks like your challenging me?"

"Well maybe I am." I said poking him

"Well. Challenge accepted. But you know what that means?"

"What?"

"We have to become close." He said pulling me close to him. I laughed and took one step back

"Not like that." I said and he laughed

"I know, just wanted to see what you were going to do."

"Trying to put me up to the test."

"Yeah. But com'on, you have to admit. You can't resist this." He said pointing at himself.

"Anyway is that the class over there?" I said pointing to the door that said Science on it.

"Changing the subject." He mumbled and laughed. "Um yeah right over there." He said and we both walked into the class.
