The soft glow of the morning sun filtered in through the windows, casting gentle light on the living room. Hyejin slowly stirred, her body warm and comfortable in the cocoon of blankets that had somehow ended up tangled around her during the night. She blinked sleepily, her senses gradually waking up to the familiar scent of Minho's cologne and the soft, rhythmic sound of his breathing.

She was lying on the couch, Minho's arm draped over her waist, his body pressed against hers. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere of the moment was interrupted only by the soft purring sounds that filled the room. Hyejin turned her head to find three little bundles of fur curled up all around them, the kittens fast asleep and nestled in the folds of the blankets and pillows.

Soonie, Doongie, and Dori, their little fur balls of chaos, had somehow managed to wiggle their way into the cozy nest they'd created. Soonie was lying across Minho's chest, his tiny paws resting over his heart, while Doongie and Dori had made themselves comfortable between the two of them, forming a little triangle of kittens around them. Hyejin couldn't help but smile at the sight of their peaceful faces, her heart melting at how cute and content the kittens looked.

She let out a soft, amused sigh and gently nudged Minho awake. His soft, tousled hair was resting against her shoulder, and she could feel the warmth of his breath against her skin.

"Minho," she murmured, softly brushing his hair out of his face. "Minho, wake up."

He groaned softly, shifting slightly but not fully waking up yet. Hyejin's lips twitched into a smile as she watched him, her fingers gently brushing the side of his face. His eyes fluttered open, and when they met hers, his lips curved into a lazy smile.

"Morning, beautiful" he mumbled, his voice husky from sleep. He stretched, inadvertently nudging one of the kittens with his elbow. The little orange tabby mewed and wiggled, but soon settled back into a cozy ball against Minho's side.

Hyejin chuckled softly, her eyes softening as she looked at the three kittens. "Well, looks like we've got a full house," she teased, her fingers lightly running through his messy hair.

Minho let out a small, contented laugh and lazily glanced down at the kittens, who were now strewn across the couch. "I think they're more comfortable here than in their little bed," he said, voice still thick with sleep.

Hyejin couldn't stop the soft smile that curled on her lips as she looked down at the kittens, her heart swelling with affection. "I think they like the couch better," she said, glancing back at Minho. "And I think they like us."

Minho's gaze softened as he followed her line of sight. He looked at the kittens, and then back at her, his voice quieter this time. "I like them here," he said, his words carrying an unspoken meaning. "And I like that you're here, too."

Her heart skipped a beat, and she caught her breath, a warmth spreading through her chest. She didn't respond immediately, just let herself linger in the moment—tucked under the blankets, with the kittens curled around them, and Minho's warm presence beside her. Everything felt so... right.

She reached out and gently stroked Doongie's back, the little orange tabby's tail flicking as he shifted in his sleep. Minho watched her, his hand absentmindedly brushing against her side. His gaze softened, and without thinking, he placed a kiss to her forehead, lingering for a second longer than usual.

For a moment, the world outside their little bubble felt far away. The kittens were still purring softly, snuggled close to them, and everything was peaceful, warm, and quiet.

Minho shifted closer to her, his arm tightening around her waist as he rested his head against her shoulder. "I could stay like this forever," he said softly, his voice full of contentment.
