Goodbye

     'I don't care.' I thought bitterly.

"... and you have to work to pay off your punishment..." I tuned her out again. I thought about leaving my friends... and my social life.

"We have to go back to your school to get your things and homework." my parents agreed. "But we're nice enough to let you stay with Aunt Sharon in Fairwell Falls." Who? I mentally groaned, why not ruin my life when I have to go to school with my mommy and daddy helping me?

Oh wait, it already is ruined by Sarah. She probably already spilled rumors all around school. I scratched my head, "Why can't I go by myself?" I pleaded more than asked. "Right, we will go tomorrow!" my mom totally ignored me. She dismissed me and I stomped up the stairs to my room.

I layed down on my bed facing the head of the bed, laying my cheeks on my hands, propping up my elbows. I stared admiring the Carter Steven poster on my wall.

Him, smiling down at me with kiss marks all around him. His bright, white smile shining down at me, his light green eyes filled with happiness and his healthy dark brown hair covering part of his right eye. I'm a bit obsessed with him but I mean, who isn't? I kissed his cheek and fell asleep, hugging my pillow in a curled position.

I dreamt about meeting him one day, in one of his concerts, in the backstage, us becoming close friends. I always envied his girlfriends, all of them were beautiful and had no problems. A bit of attitude problems but they all are still perfect.

Until after he breaks up with them, they become an emotional wreck and can't get over the fact that Carter Steven broke up with them. Carter is known as a player, that is his whole reputation. Well except he is one of the top hottest boys.

I couldn't imagine about how my strawberry blonde hair and his dark chocolate brown hair clashing together. Not that pretty. I could never imagine him and me togther, he would never go for a "low class" girl.

"Stacy!" my best friend hugged me. She pulled away and frowned, her eyes tearing up. "Hi Mr. Ronwell," she sniffed. "Hey Rosey." he smiled at her, seeing no problem at all, and she hugged him tightly. After she released my dad from her death grip, she wailed and petted my hair. I gently patted her back and chuckled. The bell ringed and she hugged me one last time and ran to her class, wiping her eyes.

We continued our way to my locker but I bumped into Sarah and Aurora. "Hi Lacy." Aurora smiled sarcastically at me. "Oh, your father is so tall, I guess that is where you got your height from." Sarah smirked. I stuttered and looked up to my dad. He is tall and I was too, but he just looked down at the two girls and smiled.

     He smiled!

Why do you smile when someone got your own daughter's name wrong?! I was fuming with rage. My blood boiled with anger but I kept a straight face. We walked away and he nudged me.

"Nice friends you got there," he smiled genuinely.

     I rolled my eyes.
