Chapter 5

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" Tony yelled before throwing cake in my face. I laughed at him before throwing it back at him. Everyone is pretty much shitfaced here. Jack and Alex are grinding on eachother, Jaime is making out with his girlfriend on top of the tour bus, Jenna, Lynn, Taylor, Tony, Cassie and I are sitting in a circle playing truth or dare, and everyone else is dancing.

"Jesse, Truth or dare?" Taylor asked me. Hmm...

"Dare."  I answered, proudly.

"I dare you to take a hit of that joint." She said, pointing to the joint in Cassie's hand. "And shot gun it with Tony." I was surprised she said Tony. I just looked at Cassie.. She just smiled and handed me the joint. I guess she okay with it.
I took a big puff and before I knew it, Tony's lips were on mine, I blew the smoke in and he pulled away, exhaling the smoke in my face.

When his lips left mine, I felt the urge to have them back on. No! Stop it. You love Cassie.. 

"Okay, Okay. Cassie truth or dare?" Lynn asked.

"Truth.." She looked a little scared.

"Is it true that you've been with a guy before?" her eyes popped out of her head.

"Uhmm.." I stared at her a little too intensely. "Yes." She whispered 

"Ohhh.. Details please!" Jenna begged.

"It was a guy at the orphanage. His name is Seth." Wait.. WHAT?

"Seth Blanchard?" I raised my voice. I was a little surprised.

See, when I was 15, I moved into the orphanage. The first person I met was Seth(I met Cassie and my other friend, Macey a week or two later.) Seth showed me around, helped me get settled in and was just a pretty cool friend. We got pretty close that week. He was into my music and a lot of my favorite bands, we both loved the Harry potter series, and a lot of other stuff. Well as you could probably tell, I did develop a crush on him. I introduced him to Cassie and we all became pretty close.

Well, Cassie and Seth ended up spending a lot of time together. The more time they spent, the more Seth and I drifted apart. I was heart broken. I really like him. By the time my 16th birthday came around, Seth completely dropped me as a friend, matter of fact, he dropped Cassie too. I still don't know what happened but I have a feeling I'm about to find out.

"Jesse.." She warned me.

"I asked you if anything was going on between you two. You said nothing happened and nothing was ever going to happen." 

"I know. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you." She walked over to me. "I didn't want to hurt you."

I know this shouldn't be a big deal.. but it is. Seth was seriously the only guy I liked. I didn't love him but I did have strong feelings for him. It literally shattered me when he completely dropped me.

Everyone was looking at us in confusion. 

"What else are you keeping from me? Did you sleep with him too?!" I spat at her. She stood silent with her head hung low. "Before or after?" I now had tears in my eyes..

"After." Cassie also had tears falling from her eyes. I went to walk away but she grabbed my arm and spun me around. She was now almost fully crying. "I didn't mean to Jesse, please.. it just happened and I was under a lot of pressure. It didn't mean anything. It never did. What I did was wrong, I know but I truly do love you. I wanted to tell you.. it just hurt so much."

"Wait.. so you're gonna stand there and tell me how you didn't mean to sleep with the guy I liked. You're telling me there wasn't one though in your mind saying 'No, Cassie, stop.' or 'You know Jesse likes him. What the hell are you doing?!' I was yelling and now almost everyone was looking at me.
