The entire situation was absolutely and horribly fucked up, but there was nothing she could do without getting kicked out of the gang by an angry Vanoss.
"Alice?"
Moo was one of the first to joke around, but he was also the first to comfort someone he cared about and Alice had found a place in his large heart. Right now, he was more than concerned. Alice had been in her room for a while without talking to anyone, bringing a bottle of scotch into her room.
Honestly, it wasn't as bad as he expected. He actually thought Alice would go on a killing spree. Moo didn't know how Alice acted when she was confused or distressed.
The raven haired gang member locked herself in her room to think and drink, but there was a huge consequence to that tonight. Tomorrow they were continuing their heist, a very important one.
The gang had been a bit short on defense, armor, and other crap like that and this heist would resupply them. If everything went according to plan, they'd have more than a year's worth of supplies. Though nothing would go according to plan if a vital part of their plan was still drunk or too hungover to do anything.
Without waiting for an answer, picked Alice's lock and saw her sitting on the side of his bed with a half empty bottle in his hand.
"We've been planning this heist for a while now, Alice. Don't let this compromise everything we've planned out."
Alice looked up at him and sighed. "You're right Moo but Jonathan is locked up somewhere probably hurt and I can't just ignore that."
Brock frowned, sitting down beside his friend and patting her back. "And we'll get him out soon enough. Right now, all of us need you to be in your right mind for the heist."
The entire gang depended on Brock for things like this. He was always the kindest when it came to his friends and the wisest one as well. Alice hugged him and handed him the scotch, so she wouldn't be tempted to have another drink later on.
Moo left the room, leaving Alice to sleep. It wasn't that late, but the trained woman needed her rest especially with the amount of alcohol she had consumed, but that wasn't going to happen.
There was absolutely no doubt now that she was going to save Jonathan even if that meant purposely disobeying Vanoss' orders and possibly getting kicked out.
She already had her heist items packed up in a small black backpack and her outfit laid out for tomorrow's heist. Breaking into an enemy base by herself while being a bit intoxicated was a highly stupid decision, but this was about Delirious. Nothing was going to stop her.
--
As Alice got ready, Delirious was undergoing the most painful hours of his life.
Unlike his own methods, his torturers didn't stop at all. For an entire nine hours, he was beaten, burned, and much more.
After the club was over run with hostile gang members, he was pinned down and knocked out. Delirious knew that they didn't appreciate the fact that their leader was assassinated by his gang, but he had no clue of the amount of pain they'd cause.
The brown haired boy woke up dangling from a single rope tied around both of his feet and another rope tying his hands together. He also realized that his shirt was lying on the floor in a bloody mess.
By the time he woke up, he could feel a painful, burning sensation on the side of his head and realized that the blood soaking his torn up shirt was from a pounding wound on his head.
"He's up," an unknown voice entered his ears. "Get the iron ready."
Without a warning, he felt something touch the skin on his back and screamed in pain. The people torturing him obviously weren't looking for answers, they wanted revenge. For the next hour, he was burned five more times on his back.
