<Roc POV>
My phone started ringing. It was Terri. "Hey, we're at the hospital on Walnut Grove. Meet me here. Okay?" She asked. "Yeah. Alright." "We're gonna get them, okay?" She said. "Yeah. I know. I'm on my way."
I got to the hospital and walked in Chase's room. Thank god he's ok. He was sitting up talking to Terri. " Hey, wassup man" Chase said dapping Roc's fist. "When I get out in a few weeks, we are going to find these sons of bitches, aight?" Chase said. "Nah man. I can't wait a few weeks. I gotta get her now, starting tomorrow." I said. Terri rubbed my shoulder. "Get some sleep Chres." She said. Her eyes were puffy from all the crying she did & so were mine.
(The Next Morning)
My phone was ringing from an unknown number. I answered the phone. "Hello?" I was half asleep. "CHRES! CHRES PLEASE! PLEASE HELP ME!!" "Anieese yelled through the phone. "Baby?! Where are you?!" I yelled into the phone. "Oh she's right here safe with me." An unfamiliar voice said. "Who the fuck is this?!" "Don't worry about all of that, homie. Let's make a deal. You give me 5 million dollars & you get lil shawty back. Now. It's gonna be hard giving her back because I've enjoyed her presence." He kissed her lips softly & Anieese began to scream. It was hard hearing her cry through the phone, so Roc pulled the phone from his ear with his fist balled up. "Helloooo? You still there bro?" The man said. Roc put the phone back to his ear. "Man, I don't have that type of --." "One thing I don't like is a liar. Don't say you dont have the money because I know you do. You have 5 hours to bring me my money! Not 5 hours and 5 seconds, not 5 hours and 5 minutes! I want it in exactly 5 hours! You hear me?!" He said. "YEAH." I hung the phone up in his face. "Who was that?" Terri asked. "The guy who took Anieese. He wants 5 big ones in 5 hours." "What!? No!" Terri yelled. "Don't worry. It's not going to be real money. I know someone who can hook me up." I said. "Okay. Just be careful. Please." Terri said. "Okay." I kissed her head & hugged Chase. I grabbed my bag & left the hospital. While driving all I could think about was Anieese. I was sitting at a light & a car blew its horn at me. I was so worried about her. I've never felt like this with any girl. That's when I knew I loved this girl more than anything in this world & I just had to get her back.
