"Keh do..!" he said, pulling her closer.
("Say it..!")
"Kya..?", she said while trying to maintain distance.

The corridor was quiet except for the distant murmur of students in classrooms. She walked aimlessly, her fingers clutching the strap of her bag, eyes lost in thought. The past few days have been unbearable. No explanations. No messages. No calls.

Her heart lurched, her breath hitching. She turned swiftly, eyes scanning the corridor, but-nothing.
She exhaled sharply, pressing a hand to her chest.
Not again.
It wasn't the first time. She had been hallucinating his voice ever since he left. In her lectures, during casual conversations, even in the middle of the night when silence felt too loud.

She stared at her chai, stirring it absentmindedly, her mind far away.
"Manvi, are you even listening?" Ritika nudged her.
She blinked, pulling herself back. "Huh?"
Ragini sighed. "What are you thinking?"
Manvi forced a smile, but it didn't reach her eyes. "Nothing."
Megha scoffed. "You've been restless ever since he left."
Her fingers tightened around her cup, but she said nothing.
Humza sighed. "To be honest, we are more worried for you yrr, we can't see you like this."
She inhaled deeply.
Samar was about to say something but as his gaze felt at the entrance he stopped and stood up.
