2:45am. michael fucking clifford called me at 2:45am on a saturday night so we could go on a road trip around california. usually michael isn't the one who pulls things like this, it's always ashton because he wants to take good pictures for his instagram and because he likes this type of shit.

        i quickly threw on a pair of black skinny jeans and a black shirt with some black & white chucks, not bothering to fix my hair. i got a back pack from my closet and started throwing random clothing in there for the road trip. i grabbed my phone and my charger from my bed and dashed out my bedroom door, out of the apartment.

        when i got outside the boys were piled up in ashton's truck eating sour gummy worms and taking sips out of their cheap beer bottles. i hopped into the backseat of the truck taking a beer from the cooler and chugging it down, the cool liquid instantly calming me down. ashton told everyone to buckle up, but of course, none of us listened to him. he pulled out of the apartment complex and drove off with the song 'asleep' by the smiths softly playing in the back ground. ashton stopped at a red light and told us that the first stop of our road trip was the gas station.

        around 10 minutes later we arrived at the cheap gas station to pump up some gas for the road. i opened the truck door and jumped out telling the boys that i was going to go buy some cigarettes at the liquor store across the street. i opened the door to the store and heard the annoying little noise it made. i avoided the awkward 'hello' from the cashier and went into the drink isle to get something to drink for later. i looked at the various options and decided on getting a water and walked to look at the cigarettes. i muttered a quick 'viceroy cigarettes please.' the man grabbed them from the back and said that it'll be $5.34 for the water and the cigars. i payed the man, told him thank you, and left.

        when i got back to the truck i heard michael telling luke how dumb he was while ashton amusingly watched the two bicker from the front seat. "calum! bro, what took you so long, you were gone for like 42 years?" luke joked earning a slap in the back of the head from mikey. "i couldn't decide what i wanted to drink lucas, chill your tits." i replied earning a laugh from ashton. ash told us that our next stop was anaheim, which instantly earned a groan from michael because it was about an hour away. "michael you pussy bitch it's like an hour away shut the fuck up before i make you fucking walk" ashton said to michael, instantly shutting him up. luke was annoyingly singing 'let it go' from frozen, this was going to be a long trip.
