Dana POV

I heard loud yelling from downstairs and furniture tossed around , so I rushed to the stairs to see the living room messed up and my mom and stepdad Johnny arguing . " Let go of me I can't do it anymore . " My mother Said . My step dad grabbed my mother neck and said " You listen to me I said I want you to go on the corner and .. " He looked up stairs to where I was standing and said " Go upstairs now . " My mother turned and said " Dana go upstairs mama will be there soon ok . " Yes mama " I said . I ran to my room and got in the bed and waited for my mama to come up here , but she didn't . I waited and waited and she never came , so I fell to sleep and when I woke up the next day I didn't see my mom . Usually she would be in the kitchen , breakfast on the table and sitting there stressed out looking through bills with coffee right beside her . She wasn't there nor the coffee or not even a bill in sight , not even breakfast on the table . I sat at the table , and suddenly my step dad Johnny came in with a box and looked died in my eyes and said " Your mom died of an overdose this morning and the doctors took her . " I ran upstairs and cried my eyes out . " And since that day it was like hell .

" DANA !! " My step dad Yelled . That snapped me out of my daydream I was sitting in the middle of my bedroom with a picture of my mother and me in my hand . I Remember that Day Like It Was Yesterday . " DANAAAA !! I KNOW U HEAR ME CALLING U " My step dad Johnny yelled . I quickly ran to my dresser and open my sock drawer and put my picture of me and my mom under my socks , and ran downstairs to my step dad standing at the end of the stair . " You didn't hear me calling you " He Said . " Yes umm ... I.I.. " I mumbled trying to make up a lie . " You .. You what " he said , As he grabbed my arm and put me against the wall . " You know I love you right " he said . As he try to kiss me I moved my head away . He quickly moved back trying to think of what he just did .
" Well go up stairs and get dressed I need you to go to the store to get me some milk and eggs " he said wallking to the kitchen . I ran up stairs and and went to my drawer to get me my mom pink joggers she always would wear with my white tank top and some pink sandals . I went to the bathroom turned on the water and got in the shower , I got out and looked in the mirrow and pin my long black hair that went to my waist up just how mama use to do it . My mom always said that the pin really brings out my big blues eyes . I sat there and look at my bushy eye brows that my mom said I got from my dad and also my big lips that she said I got from him also . I never met my dad I suppose he left when I was little . Then I started lotioning my tan skin full of scars all down my back . I slipped on my mom pink joggers that is getting a little tight since I am getting a little thicker and threw on my white tank top .
I grapped my sandals and ran downstairs and grabbed the money of the table and before I turned around and saw Johnny staring at me then I rushed to the store and got the milk and eggs just like my step dad asked and rush back home . When I came back my step dad was at the door and said " School is coming up so we will go school shopping tomorrow be ready , now go in there and make me dinner . " My eyes was wide open I forgot all about school I haven't been to school every since my mom died and that was last year , how can I go threw this with him usually my mother will help me every step of the way . And I really wanted her to be there on my most important day senior year

Johnny POV

I got kinda hungry I decided to command Dana to go to the store and make me dinner . " DANA " I yelled . I waited for awhile and there was no answer , then I yelled again even louder " DANAAA I KNOW YOY HEAR MY CALLING YOU !! " Suddenly I heard loud foot steps run across the room then coming down stairs . She started to slow down when she seen me .Then I Said " You didn't hear me calling you ? " She started to mumble but I didn't really hear her . So I said " You .. You what " She just stare at me so I grabbed her arm and pushed her against the wall and looked at her . She looked just like her mom but even better and even younger so I said " You know I love you right " and leaned in for a kiss but she quickly moved her head so I backed away .
Man this weed got me thinking of doing more things then kissing her but I just sent her upstairs to get dressed and go to the store to get milk and eggs . When she came back down stairs and grabbed the money so she can go and I just can't help it but look at her well she walked away in them tight joggers her mom use to wear but Dana weared them best , she turned around and looked at me then she closed the door and left . I walked up stairs and rinse my face and when I look up I saw my dark brown skin and my sexy 6 packs with my big lips . How can she not like me I'm 26 good looking and the only reason I was with her mother for the money and her daughter . Then I Heard the mail man walk pass and I went to see bills of course and then I saw an unusual envelope talking about Dana need to go back to school , so when she walk in I told her and she seem shock so I just walk away .
