Dana POV

When I left Stevens house I felt kinda awkward I mean that was the first time I met his parents and we are on the couch making out . When I got in the car I got a text from Douglas saying  that his going to be late because of his boss  . I texted him back ok and I was on the way to his condo . When I pull in his driveway I couldn't believe my eyes his complex is beautiful . I didn't have a key so I called my uncle .

"Umm hey , sorry to interrupted you but you never hand me a key to your apartment  "

"Its ok and its under the door mat "

"Wow people still do that "

He started to giggle " Lock the doors behind you "

"Ok bye "

"Oh and wait " he said before I was about to hang up.

"Yeah "

" I talked to your parents , their so excited they can't wait to see you "

"Oh really " I said happy .

"Yeah but before I forget I need you to be ready in the morning around 8 to come back and answer some more questions "

"Again "

He laughed "Yes again but get some sleep "

When I went in the house I texted Steven and ask when and where he want to go on our date and looked in the fridge for some juice .

"This house is nice " I say to myself

I was looking through his house when seen a girl looking room . Well I guess I'm sleeping in here . I took off my shoes and laid down and drift off to sleep .

The next day .

Johnny POV

"What's going on buddy , I thought when you get out off jail the first time you was going to change " my lawyer say to me . These white folks trying to hit me with all these cases I'm going to be in here for life .

"Man the streets love me , and I love the streets " I say to him with my hands over my face

"Well if you keep loving them streets you gone end up right in jail and that's what it look like " he said looking through his files .

Officer Douglas came walking in sipping his coffee .

"What you want Officer I'm talking to my client " my lawyer said

" Detective Douglas to you " he said fake smiling .

"Man quit the chattering what's going on " I said interrupting them .

He look at me then grin

"Well let's get down to business " he said taking a sit . " Do you mind telling me where's Patty Flowers ? "

"Don't know " I quickly denied

"Johnny , that's you name right "

I just looked at him . " You shared a house with her , correct ? "

"Yeah "

"Slept in the same bed , correct "

"Yeah"

"Did drugs , and sold her body to other dudes and killed her , correct "

"Man what is you talking about " I said getting loud .

"Answer the question " he demanded

"Excuse me sir , its our rights to answer what ever question we want so please detective  , that's what you are right . So please don't push it or it will go against you " my lawyer said

"Fine " he said grinning and walked out the door . Damn man I just got myself in a deeper hole .

Detective Douglas POV

I stayed at the office for a long time . When I went home I took a shower and found Dana in my daughter's room where she use to sleep at when she was younger when she use to take business trips with me up here .

I got a text from my boss saying to be up at the office at 8 damn I can't never get a break . I got in bed and quickly drift off to sleep .

And now here I am at the office looking through files . I left before Dana so I just texted her to drive the car here .

"Johnny and His lawyer are here , so I want you to go interview them " my boss said walking out my office .

I walked in the room where johnny and his lawyer were . When I was asking him questions he kept on denying it and got really frustrated with me as much as his lawyer . I excused myself out before I catch a case of my own.

"What you got " my boss said as I was walking out 

"Not shit " I said walking back and forth .

"Ok calm down just get the Marissa girl I was talking to you about maybe she would give use what she need . "

Before I said anything I saw Dana walk in .

Dana POV

When I woke up I got in the shower . I was looking through the buckets in the room and I found some blue jeans and I white shirt that says Queen and I put back on my converses . I figured I can go to McDonalds and get me breakfast . I looked at my phone and saw that my uncle texted me and said to drive up to the office when I wake up , so I grabbed my keys and lock the door and I was going to the office  after I stop by McDonald's .

When I arrived at the office I went inside and when I walked in Douglas was looking at me . " I hope you dont mind , I borrowed some clothes from that girly room in your condo . "

"Oh its ok you can have it , its my daughters "

"You have a daughter "

"Yeah , but she also lives in Florida and by the way we are leaving tomorrow morning "

" ok " I said looking down .

"Anyways let's get to business , go in that room and I will be there shortly ."

"Ok" as I was waiting I walked passed a room with Johnny in it . I stopped and looked at him and he stared back then he wink his eye . That gave me cold chills up my spine . I went in the room he told me to go in and waited for him to come in .

"Here you go " he said handing me a cup of coffee . " So can you tell me stuff about your auntie "

"Well I don't know what to say . Umm well this is what I know she works for Johnny but I'm not really sure what she did for him "

"Ok go ahead "

"And it will be nights that Johnny will beat on her because she didn't want to work for him "

"Wow " he said writing everything I said down .

"And one day they had a big fight they was throwing every thing around and then she end up dead because she had an overdose , at least that's what Johnny said "

"An overdose " he said repeating after me with a strange face

"Yes , is there something wrong "

"Your Auntie did not die over an overdose , she's missing . "

"What no she didn't , she died of an overdose and the doctors took her away " I said with a strange face also .

"Don't you think they would of called you guys back , or you guys would of went up there . "

Tears started forming in my eyes " If she's missing Johnny got something to do with it . I just know it , he never really liked her anyway , he went with her because of me . " I said as tears came down my face .
