I can feel Kreios calm breathing, I look and see he was asleep. I get up from the couch and walk, Duke follows behind. We walk upstairs and I carry him into his room, I lay him down in his bed and cover him. I give him a goodnight kiss on the forehead and Duke does the same. We walk out the room closing the door.
"Thanks for letting me spend the day with you, him, and your family" he says
"No problem" I say
"I guess I'll go now" he says, I walk him to the door
"I think he still has his suit case packed so he'll be ready and I'll drop him off at your hotel " I say closing the door behind me
"Okay, Thank you again" he says and comes in for a hug, I hug him, we pull apart but stay close a bit, our lips connect for a second and he pulls away
"No problem" I say
He nods, I see his car has arrived. He smiles at me and walks to his car, I see him drive off. I walk in and see Evie staring with a big smile on her face.
"I think their might actually be a chance between you guys" she says and walks upstairs with Jake
Everyone was walking upstairs tired, I walk up to my room and brush my teeth. I lay down in bed and fall asleep.
Next Morning
My alarm goes off, it was 7:30 am, I get up and walk in the bathroom and brush my teeth and splash water over my face. I get dressed in balck jeans, white V-neck, and white high top converse. I straighten my hair and put on mascara and lip balm. I walk in Kreios room and get him up, he goes and brush his teeth and I set his outfit. I grab his suit case and take it downstairs.
He comes down, we walk out and I put the suit case in the car. It was 8: 10. We get in and I start heading towards town.
"Want something from the cafe?" I ask
"No dad said we're having breakfast together" He says, I nod
"Be good okay, don't get in trouble and call me when you get the chance and when you just wanna talk or something happens" I say, he nods and smiles at me
I park the car, we get out and I grab the suit case. We walk in the hotel and get the room to where Duke was staying in, we get in the elevator and press the button to the presidential suit. We get out and I knock on the door, the door opens and I see Duke already for the ride.
"Glad you made it" he says, I smile "Come inside the food is already here"
Kreios hugs me one last time and gives me a kiss on the cheek, he hugs me tight and walks in. I sit up straight, I smile at Duke.
"Thank you, I promise to take care of him" He says, I nod
"Have a good trip" I say, he nods
"Thank you for giving me such a beautiful son" He says hugging me, I laugh and hug him
"Here are his things" I say, he put them to the side "bye"
He waves, I turn and walk to the elevator, I blink the tears away. It's a mother thing. I get in and press the button to the lobby, the doors open and I walk out. I get in the car and head for the coffee shop, I walk in and see the guy who was working from the night before. He smiles and I smile back, music from the 50 s begin to play, I order my coffee and pay.
"Still waiting on the phone call" he says, I laugh
I grab the coffee and walk out, I get in the car and start heading home. Gift were prepared under the big tree. I drive up the drive way and park the car. I walk in the house and see everyone was dressed for a shopping day, I sit down and eat.
"You Okay?" Evie asks, I nod
We get in the cars and start heading to town, Jake parks the car and we get out. I look and see were parked at a Mexican bar, I can hear the loud Mexican music which was actually good. I turn to Evie.
"Since your not a mother for the rest of the week break, we're going to get you drunk and lose yourself" Evie says
"They're fun moments, from the times I spent with them at 16" Jake tells Mathias
We get out the car and walk in the bar, Evie orders the strongest drinks they have and makes me drink all of them and I swear I think she put a pill or something. I keep drinking, everyone was drinking. By the time it was night and people were dancing all dressed sexy. And I swear we had an amazing plan on going into the streets with the music and start dancing. Mathias carries me and puts me in the car, Evie and Jake are in the back having a full make out session. Mathias hands me a cup of straight black coffee.
"Are you drunk or not?" I ask
"No I only drank and knew you were gonna get fucked up" he says, I giggle and he turns to me and chuckles
"I can't go home like this" I say "my parents will be disappointed that I barely give my kid to someone and I get all in responsible and I'm suppose to be a role model"
"I know where we can go" he says, he goes the other way leaving the small town and heads for the hills
He parks the car in reverse, Jake and Evie are having a make out session. We go in the back and just stare into the sky and watch the skies, and wrap ourselves in blankets and hand one to Jake and Evie.
"Do you like me?" I ask
"As asks friend, I'm asks tally gay" he says, I turn towards him and smile
"I knew it, Thanks best friend" I say and cuddle to him
"Do you miss Kreios?" He asks
"Yes and it's only been hours since they left and I even miss his Father, it's like I fell in love with him all over again"
