10 Years Later
"Push Evie! Push!" Jake yells, I stand next to her and let her squeeze my hand
"One last time" the doctor says
She does and we hear the baby cry, Jake kisses Evie on her cheek and goes cut the cord. The nurse takes her to get her warm. They bring the baby to Evie, Evie cries as they hand her the baby.
"What will you name her?" The nurse asks, Evie and Jake look at each other
"Candace Lockhart" Evie says, I love Jakes last name it's just so perfect like an angels last name
They move her to one of the rooms and teach her the basics, soon she's getting dressed so we can head home. The family was waiting at the house ready to meet the newest member of the family, they put her in a wheel and I carry the baby on the car seat. Jake goes and signs the papers and goes gets the car, I buckle the baby and sit in the back with Evie. Jake heads towards my home.
It's been 10 years, Duke and I got married and had 2 more kids. Spyros who's 5 and my beautiful daughter Kyrn who was born last month November 3rd. Kreios is 15 and in high school, he loves his simblings which I love. Evie and Jake have two kids now Edsel who's 9 years old and their daughter Candace who was barely born. Our parents moved to the city in the upper east side which they love very much.
We finally get there, he goes up the drive way and the gates close. I open the door and help Evie out, I open the door and let them in. We walk to the living room where we see everyone gathered around, our mothers come and take Candace away from Evie and push me away. I roll my eyes and walk towards my husband, he was holding our beautiful girl."Let's see what the future brings us" Duke says, I smile and nod
I look around and see everyone was happy as a family, we were a big strong bond that no one can ever destroy.
