We finally arrive at the ball, we see photographer all around taking pictures of the people for the town album and a few were just paparazzi waiting for me. The chaffer gets out, he opens the door.
Duke gets out along with Kreios, Duke extends his hand out and I take it. We walk down the carpet and stand in front of the board and let them snap the pictures of us, the small family.
"Are you guys getting together!" Someone yells
We ignore them and wall to the other board where wait for the family, the family is finally in and they take the pictures of us all. We walk up the steps and walk inside, they lead us towards our table. We were in the middle, there was a dance floor, dj was on top the balcony, balloons were there from gold, white, and silver, and the room was dim with lights flashing. Kreios goes and runs to a little group of kids, we walk towards the table. 'Prayer in C' starts playing, Evie, Jake, Mathias, and I look at each other, our parents groan.
We walk towards the dance floor, the lights turn dimmer where you can't even see people, colorful lights are flashing. We start moving to beat of the song which was soft but still able to move to the music. Mathias picks me up and spins me, I laugh. He puts me down and I hug him. We keep dancing to the music they play, I turn around and hug Evie. Jake and Mathias join the hug.
"Evie stop touching my ass" I say, Evie bust out laugh
"Oh Mathias you should've been here, we were at the talent show and they call Hera backstage and I slap her ass and our parents yell our names, and I say 'what it's round and natural and not fake' and what made me laugh the most was that Jake turns around to where Duke and all his fake women were seating and says 'sorry she didn't mean that' I was dying from laughter" Evie says, Mathias begins to laugh with her
Jake and I just walk towards the table and sit, I sit next to Duke amd Kreios, Mathias comes and sits next to Gus and Jake and Evie sit together, everyone had a partner. They begin to serve the food, we eat well half of it. La Gozadera starts playing a Spanish song on proud Spanish countries. Evie grabs me and takes me to the dance floor, we move to the music together. We shake our bodies, we laugh enjoying this time, I turn her and put her down. We don't leave the dance floor for the rest of the time, we keep dancing as more people keep joining us. I look to the table and see a Duke was alone, I dance my way to him.
He smiles when he sees me, I dance towards him and extend my hand out. He shakes his head, I grab him and take him to the dance floor. We dance together and he starts to loosen up and dance with everyone. A slow song begins to play, I look at Duke.
"Take her" Chara says, I smile
I put my arms around his neck and he puts his hands on my waist, we move to the slow music. I see Mathias was talking to the dj amd beside him was Gus, they smile and puts dumbs up I smile. I look towards Duke and see him look mad at something, I turn to where he was looking at and see he was staring at Layla dancing with her cousin Richard.
"That's her cousin" I say, he looks down at me "Don't bother"
The music ends, I walk towards the table with everyone else. Evie looks at me and glares at Duke, I laugh and she smiles.
"Can I have a dance" I hear someone say, I look and see its a stranger
"No I'm sorry" I say, he comes down to my ear
"Its about the women who set the picture public" He says
"I don't dance but I can talk" I say getting up
We walk towards the table of food, I had hired a secret t
detective to find out who would do that kind of thing and edit pictures of me. I of course did it in secret.
