Class was really fun. We got to know everyone. we kept playing games. Joe stayed by me the whole time.

He was actually one of my really close friends. But he likes Mia. Mia doesn't like me because Joe and I are really close.

"Hey, you wanna go for ice cream after school?" Joe asks.

"I do!" Marcus raises his hand and waves it in Joes face a couple times.

"I was talking to Cadence."

"Sure, I'd love too." I say. "Just let me text my dad and let him know."

I texted my dad to let him know.
Cadence: Dad, Joe and I are going for ice cream after school.
Taylor: Joe? What time? Where? Will his parents be with you? how long?
Cadence: Dad chill. I'll be okay. no need to worry. I love you❤️

No reply. Wow dad, I'm feeling the love.

"What'd he say?" Joe looked nervous.

"He said yes." I look up from my phone and look at him again. I hear a slight yes escape from Joes mouth.

"huh?" I ask.

"Nothing." he turns away and I get up and walk over to some girls that I talk to sometimes.

I felt eyes on me. I turned around and the boys were laughing. I smiled and went back to talking to the girls.

"He does to have a 8 pack." Claire says.

"No it's a 6 pack." Nora explains.

"Who are we talking about?" I ask while sitting up on a desk.

"Joe." They say at the same time.

"Jinx again!"

"Triple jinx!" this was never going to end.

"guys he has a 6 pack." I tell them.

"I told you!" Nora screams earning a 'shh' from Mrs. Short.

"Wait how do you know?" Claire asks.

"I'm really close friends with him. I've been to the beach with him." I say considering it was really obvious.

*After school*

"knock knock." Someone put there hands over my eyes.

"Whos there?" I ask

"Guess?" I hear him say.

"Joe?" I ask again.

"Damn it."

"what's up?"

"I'm taking you for ice cream." he tells me again. I totally forgot.

"Oh right! Silly me!" I fake laugh and shut my locker.

I pull my phone out and check my notifications.

I had a bunch of new followers.

"Typical notification for you?" Joe asks.

"Yeah." simple is always good when it comes to responding.

"ah. here!" Joe runs to his car and opens the door for me like he always does.
