I was dreading waking up this morning only because I had to see Joe. My plan was to ignore him until he does something about what I said.

He keeps texting me. I refuse to answer him.

I was home alone at the moment because Cora and Cali had a gymnastics meet or something. I didn't want to go.

The door bell rang and I opened the door.

"Hey, Cadence. Can we possibly talk for a bit?" Joe asks.

"um, I'm busy." I say trying to get him away from me.

"Cadence, you are never busy. I know you too well."

"not well enough." I mutter.

He lightly punched my arm, "I heard that."

"Fine, come in." I motion for him that it's okay for him to come into the house.

We sat in the living room in silence for a good 2 minutes.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I ask to break the tension.

"us."

Us? ha, there isn't an us anymore.

"What about us?"

I love Joe. I just don't understand why I'm being so pissy with him.

"Cade, you are the prettiest girl in the world. You are skinny. You are the smartest girl I have ever met. You are funny, you get it from your dad. You may not be athletic but you at least try. And you come to support me durning my games. That's all I need. To look up in the stands if I'm having a bad game and see you. Smile and win it all. Cadence, Cadence Lynn Caniff, you are the most adorable human being." he holds my hands and makes me look into his green eyes.

"Thanks Joe." I say and turn away letting my hands go.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"My dad would never let us date."

"Well let's try."

"Okay, so can we start fresh?" I ask

"Yeah!" he laughs and hugs me.

"You still have that fever?" he asks.

"Yeah, it's better though."

"That's good." He kisses my forehead and cuddles up to me as I turn on the tv and watch spongebob.

How about a terrible chapter? lol sorry it took a long time to update. Idk what to write anymore. I need ideas! so if you guys can comment ideas for me that would be amazing!
