*Hayes' POV*

I was now planning my surprise for Marissa.

I didn't want it to be cheesy or cliché.

"I can't spoil the plan now. I mean come on. I'm not going to ruin the night because you guys told her." I tell Karlee and Lainie. Emmy was feeding the baby's.

"yeah but I want to know!" Karlee wines.

"No!" I storm off into my room. I went to prepare Marissa's surprise.

"Hayes?" I heard a soft voice say.

"Come in."

"Hey, whatca doing?" she asks.

"Getting ready."

"for what?"

"Something special." I kiss her on the nose and walk out with a bunch of paper and my laptop.

I head to the basement so nobody will bug me.

I get on Pinterest and look up good ways to make a girl happy.

Emmys idea popped up first.

"Maybe I should do this." I say to myself.

I grabbed my phone and started to play pandora.

I grabbed a couple pieces of paper and started to write notes. little cute, sweet, soft ones.

My plan was to actually kiss her tonight. We have kissed before but it was all dares. I want an official kiss.

"Hey, dude. What you up too?" Nash asked.

"girly stuff." I say

"Ahh, big night. need some bro help?" He asks.

"I think I got it. I'll call you down if I need help." I never took my eyes of my cute notes.

"I love your soft voice, it soothes me." Nash stated in a girl voice. "Lame bro."

"Ugh would you just go?" I say frustrated.

"Fine!" Nash throws hands up and laughs while padding me on the back. "good luck."

"thanks." I let out a sigh.

________later that night_______

"Hayes?" the house was empty. Everyone was at Taylors.

"In my room." I yell. I was actually in the kitchen. Marissa was in the backyard so when she walked in she would miss me.

I heard her footsteps heading up the stairs slowly. She picked up the notes.

I ran to the backyard by the hammock. I swung in the swing until she came out with her surprise.

"Hayes, you are so wonderful." Marissa says sitting on my lap, facing me.

*Marissa's POV*

I was trying to find Hayes because I hadn't seen him all day.

"Hayes?" I called.

"In my room." I walked inside and went right to the stairs. But as I stepped down I stepped on something.

"What is this?" I mutter to myself.

I look at the piece of paper that I was holding in my warm sweaty palms.

'Your chocolate brown eyes are my favorite'

I kept going.

On the 7th step there was another note.

'You need something new, so here.'

There was a box attached to the note. I opened it.

"Hayes...what have you got me into?" I whisper.

it was a bracelet with a charm that said 'Marissa' on the back it said 'remember me, even when I'm gone-Hayes'

I had tears in my eyes at this time. I kept walking to his room. When I got there, he wasn't there. All I saw was a Victoria secret bag with another note. I read it.

'I saw you eyeing these at the mall on Friday, I went back and got it for you'

I opened the bag to reveal their new Leggings and Sweatshirts. I dug deeper realizing the bag wasn't empty yet.

There were the pair of Nike Roshes I wanted from Nike. There was also a Nike bra and leggings too.

"you mess with my emotions." I mumble. I walk down the stairs to see a bunch of PINK bags lined up with nothing in them. I followed them.

it lead to Hayes sitting on my favorite swing. the hammock. I sat on his lap, facing him, "Hayes you are wonderful."

I leaned in. he rapped his hands around my waist and I cupped his face with mine. our lips where centimeters away when Hayes looked at me and said, "you are beautiful." then kissed me.

I smiled in the kiss. it felt like it lasted forever. I loved it. Why couldn't every kiss be like this?

I pulled away, "you are too." he laughed, "thanks Riss" and kissed me again.

"Now let me help you put your charm bracelet on." He offered and I handed him the bracelet.

"Why thank you sir." I got up and bowed.

"No problem, my queen." he grabbed my hand and picked me up bridle style to the couch to do something.

"Movie?" he asks

"no, let's go do what YOU want to do." I say with a smile.

"How about Go-Carts?" he smiles and looks at me.

"Let's go!" I say and jump to my feet grabbing my purse.
