   "How goes the wedding plans?" Yuqi asked.

   "Nothing to really say so far. I mean Hyunjin and I are both wearing suits and Hyejin is going to be a flower girl. Hyunjin and I are both going to have four people standing with us. Hyunjin asked Hyewon and Sophia. Sophia said no because she is going to be taking care of Lucia and Hyewon agreed, so there is that," Felix answered.

 Yuqi's brows drew together, "You seem tense,"

   Felix sighed, he hated that he was even feeling this way, but he was and it bothered him, "I just... I don't I guess I am still having a hard time getting used to the fact that Hyunjin has two kids. Don't get me wrong I love Hyejin and Lucia with all my heart, but I don't know. I guess that I never really pictured that my life would go this way," 

 The woman nodded completely understanding. She knew where Felix was coming from. It was a lot of changes at once.

  "I obviously thought about getting married, but I thought I'd be thirty by then. I also thought about having kids and I was definitely thinking I'd be older than I am now when that happened. I just never thought that it  would happen all at once. Then again I never  even imagined that I would actually be marrying Hyunjin. To be honest, I actually thought for a short period that I'd marry Yoon," Felix told her. 

 Yuqi sat up straight, a shock running through her system hearing that. She obviously knew a lot of things, but this... this was even news to her. This was a path in the road that Yuqi was never informed about and now that she was, she needed to talk about it. 

   "Okay, hold on, we need to take like five thousand steps back. You actually thought about marrying Yoon?" She questioned, almost not believing what she had just asked. 

   "I mean, yeah," 

  "Before or after Hyunjin and Sophia broke up?"

 Felix shook his head, "Somewhere between our third and fourth date. I thought 'Hey, this is stable, it wouldn't be so bad for this relationship to be more,' Then he actually proposed and I don't know," 

  Yuqi took a breath, "So, like you actually though of marrying him?" 

  "It's like that scene from Gilmore girls, where Dean is dropping off Rory at her dorm and Jess shows up and I don't know where I am going with this," Felix said.

 "I get what you are saying. In this scenario Yoon would be Dean and Hyunjin would be Jess. Yoon is stable something you know you can depend on. Hyunjin isn't really that, he bailed on you once and before that he wasn't that reliable," She said.

 Felix let out a breath and laughed softly, "God, look at me, here I am engaged to him but still having second thoughts and doubts," 

  Yuqi reached over and held Felix's hand, "Second thoughts and doubts are normal, I mean when I was getting married to Soyeon I was having the same thing. Granted my thoughts and doubts were dulled by the fact that Soyeon and I had already been together for years and she had always been there for me," 

   The younger picked at his nails, "I want this to happen. I want to marry him, I just wish that I knew for sure that he was all in and not just doing all of this because he feels he has to. At the same time though, I don't know if I want to know the truth," 

  The older woman pursed her lips, "I know that you guys love each other and that maybe jumping into this is the right thing, but..." Yuqi trailed off, "But maybe you guys should take time. I know that maybe you don't want to wait longer, however, in the past year there was never a pause. Hyunjin went from a serious relationship to calling off the relationship. You went from being pissed at him rightfully so, to dating Yoon, to having something with Hyunjin because of everything that happened with Charles, then breaking up with Yoon and then moving in with Hyunjin, and now the engagement.

  You two never paused. Both of you just kept running full speed like if you didn't everything would stop when in reality you needed time to breathe. It just seems like you guys rushed into this too fast and now everything that had been floating in the air is now settling." 

 Maybe Yuqi was right. Maybe they did need a minute. They jumped into everything so fast that they never gave each other a minute. They never gave themselves a minute.
