Six

After a long restless night, I woke up the next morning looking and feeling like a walking freaking zombie. Look out fellow teens the zombie apocalypse is coming. Run, run for your lives. After I was done thinking my over dramatic thoughts, I grabbed my brush and began running through my hair. In the middle of me getting ready, my mom barged into my room. "Honey, Daniel is in the living room waiting for you." "errgg, I'm trying to avoid him though, due to some recent events, by recent I mean last night" She looks at me with a curious glint in her eyes. To be honest, I kind of want her to ask about the events. I know she has the best advice. "And what would those events be?"  "Well..." I hesitate for a second but then proceed on. I tell her everything that happened yesterday, I even told her about the kiss he planted on my lips. "Well.. doll.. Tyler may or may not be right, but only you can be the judge of that.  You have to figure this out for yourself. Look into your heart, and maybe eventually talk to him about it. I know one thing that Tyler said isn't true, you are my daughter, therefore you can not be ignorant. But meanwhile, you have your best friend sitting alone in that living room, so get your butt out there babe!" "Thanks mom. I love you" She smiles and walks out of my room. After deciding on an outfit for the day, I went to the living room and joined Danny. "Hey. Where's my mom?" I asked curious as to why she left him alone. He pointed his finger to the stair case "She got sucked into the magical portal I like to call stairs. Any who, you ready to go?" I looked at him for a minute, then it hit me. "Shoot, shoot, shoot! Today is the first day of school. I knew there was a reason I set my alarm for 6 a.m." and its now 6:30 a.m. and I'm sitting in my living room with Danny. I did think it was odd that he was here so early. "You forgot didn't you? Typical Liz." I ignored his insult and ran to my room and located my school bag. This was important because on the first day of every school year we ride to school together. College is going to suck without him. "Okay. Now I am ready" I laughed, feeling slightly guilty. It takes us about ten minutes to get to school. We walk into school and together, we examine our schedules. "History with Mr. Lake." "me too, lets go" luckily, we make it on time to class. "okay class, since this is our first day, and I see some new faces. We will be discussing my 2 important rules. 1 being, this is a bully free zone. You will be suspended if I see any sort of bullying, and 2, talking back to me equals detention!" None of us really pays any attention to his words until he comes out with "Now to assigned seats." we all groan and boo him. "Oh come on kids, its not that bad. First we will start off with Tyler, Elizabeth and Daniel in the first row. Exactly in the order I say your names if you will." I zone out after I realize just who exactly I would be sitting beside for the rest of the year. Like, why does this damn universe hate me? the fuck  apparently I said that last part out loud because the whole class goes up in laughter and the teacher looked at me like I murdered his puppy. Has he ever heard a cuss word? jeez. God, I cant wait till this day ends.___________
