Chapter 12

Our first date was magical.

That's the right words for it, we danced and laughed and had a great time. I hated that the night had to come to an end, all the fun would be over and I would have to be apart from this amazing guy.

"I had a great time with you tonight, I loved being with you and just being a couple. It was a feeling like no other," Danny said as we walked up to my door, hand in hand. "I have had an amazing time with you tonight as well. Danny, I always knew that you were a great guy, but never did I realize just how amazing my best friend and now boyfriend really is. I am unbelievably lucky to have a guy that cares so much about me, that's something I never thought I would or could have. Thank you for showing me that there are amazing guys, and that I have one of the very best" "Liz, I don't just care about you, I love you," wait.. what? did he just say that, did he really just say what I think he said? "w..what?" "come on Lizzy, we have been best friends for forever, Its not that hard to believe that I would love you so soon after we started dating,"
"I... I love you too!" I let a tear fall from my eye, not because of sadness but because I love him, I really and honestly love him. I never even thought love was real. I thought it was something people said just because there wasn't anything else to say or the relationship was getting boring. I never thought I would be a person to fall in love with someone for real, but I am. I love the guy standing in front of me, he gives me butterflies with the simplest words, and slightest touch. I will never let him go, or stop fighting for him. No one, and nothing will tear our love, our friendship, our relationship apart.
