Chapter 9

I saw her enter the restaurant,

She is flawless, beautiful, and simple.

But why do I think that I don't love her anymore? Nah! This can't be, I am sure that I love her. I courted her. Maybe I am just confused on the situation right now. Maybe I am just tired and I am thinking of so many things right now, but she should be my priority right now! I've been away from her for months and I want to do something for her in return.

"Hi." I said while escorting her to sit.

"Hi. I missed you!" She said and she kissed me on my cheeks as soon as she gets to sit.

"I missed you too." I told her.

"So, how have you been? You look so tired." She asked me. She's so simple, I just can't stop looking at her, maybe I was off a while ago when I said that I don't love her.

"I am tired, but I am fine. How 'bout you?" I asked her.

"I am better, compared to you." She said sarcastically and she started to laugh. I love her laugh.

The waiter started to serve us the food that I ordered before she got here. I know that she loves food, so she'll eat anything. But she's not fat, she is still slim even though she eats lots of food. She's not picky when it come to food and I love that. Today, I ordered Korean dishes because I promised her that I will treat her soon, and that's today, I hope that she'll like it.

"That was fast. I thought you haven't ordered yet." She said, then we prayed first and we started eating.

While I am eating, she stopped.

I looked at her, "What's the matter?"

"I want to ask you something." She said and she started to wipe the dirt in her lips.

I just nod and she gave me a confused look.

"You seemed to be off earlier, on our graduation. What's bothering you?" She asked.

"Oh that- uhm, I was thinking where should we eat tonight." I said.

"Oh come on!" She said and she started laughing then I laughed also. Because that was really a joke.

"No, but seriously, why do you seem so off?" She asked me again.

Should I tell her what happened to me since the day I got off the hospital? I should tell her because she's my girlfriend and I must trust her no matter what. I don't want to keep a secret from her too, so I should really tell her the unknown girl who's been texting me.

"There's this girl, who's been texting me for months now, I don't know who she is." I told her and I looked at her, on what expression will she give me. But she stayed silent and I know that she wanted to know more about what I am going to say.

"She said that, I love another girl named, Soo young." I told her and she was shocked when I mentioned Sooyoung's name.

"Oh." She said.

"You know her?"I asked.

"Yes, I do." She said and she started to act awkward.

"Do you still want to talk about this? Bec-"

"Yes, tell me more." She interrupted. But seriously, she started to act weird. I shouldn't have said this to her. I don't want her to get jealous, I want to assure her that she'll be the only one.

"You sure?" I asked her.

"Yes. So what's this unknown girl been telling you?" She asked me and she started to smile again.

"You know what, I feel like your jealous. You're acting weird, babe." I told her and I laughed.

"I AM NOT." Her voice suddenly got big and she drank. She looks nervous, she's weird, she doesn't seem fine, she can't be still, and that shows that she really is jealous.

"You are. You're so cute." I said and laughed at her again. She continue to drink and she's covering her face and I know that she's blushing. She just don't want me to see that she is blushing.

This is the kind of date I've been expecting. I don't want formalities. I don't want to be awkward to her, I want her to feel comfortable, I want her to feel loved, and I want her to feel that she is special to me. I want her to know that she's my one and only girl.

"You know what, I don't want to eat anymore, I want to go somewhere else." I told her and even though she haven't said 'yes', I still grabbed her arm and we walked out the restaurant. She started to laugh and she went inside my car. Luckily, I have my driver's license, I just turned 18 last year. We started to drive and escape just tonight. I want her to give a very special day that she will always remember and treasure.

We stopped at a park and we went outside the car.

I held her hands and we started to walk slowly.

"I am jealous." She said.

"I know, that's why I didn't continue." I told her and I squeezed her hand.

She stopped at the open field and started to sit on the grass. I followed and watched her as she does everything that she wanted to do. She's just amazing.

"I didn't notice that you were wearing converse in a dress." I told her.

"Why? Does it look bad?" She asked.

"No! It suits you, you look beautiful." I told her.

"Really? Let's take a picture." She said and she took her phone then we took a selfie. "Ah- no, it's too dark, maybe next time hahaha." She said and her laugh is so funny it makes me laugh too.

We stopped talking for a moment and just looked at the beautiful view in front of us. I looked at her also even if she doesn't notice because she's too busy wondering. I am just thankful that she's here beside me and i've got someone like her, I couldn't ask for more.

"LuHan?" She called my name but she's not looking at me, she's focusing on something like she is amazed by it, so I looked at where she's looking.

"What is it?" I asked.

"There will come a weird-weird time when you'll realize things..." She paused.

"And?" So I asked her to continue.

"And maybe you'll hate me at that time, but please understand that I didn't mean anything that I did." She said like she's about to cry.

I don't understand her, but maybe if she'll open up, I will be able to understand her more.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

She just smiled and looked at me,

"Just remember that I have loved you, okay?" She told me and hugged me, I hugged her back.

"Why do you sound like you're saying goodbye?" I asked her and she's looking at me right in to my eyes now.

"I am not, I am just stating things that you should know." She told me and pinched my cheeks.

"Okay, I love you." I told her and I held her hands.

"Love you too." She said.

And even without talking we enjoy the rest of the night because we have each other.
