Before anyone could say anything, San's fist was already hitting Seonghwa, throwing him to the marble floor.
The scene made Wooyoung gasp loudly, both his hands coming up to cover his mouth.
As much as he was glad that San saved him, he was still scared of him. Taking a few steps back when San pulled Seonghwa up by his white shirt's collar. "Let me see you one more time in this building...and I'll fucking ruin your life."
With gritted teeth, Seonghwa pushed San off him and adjusted his shirt. "Coward...you can't do anything. But I don't want to work here anymore anyway." he muttered, glancing at Wooyoung as he made his way out.
San took a deep breath, picking up his glasses from where they fell on the floor and leaving as well.
"Wait!" Wooyoung ran after him. He had to explain himself. "Sir!" He watched San go to his office to grab the floral shirt he forgot to take with him earlier.
"There's nothing going on between me and him I swear..." Wooyoung's voice wavered as he suddenly felt the urge to cry. "I didn't do anything wrong I wouldn't do that at work!"
"I know." San simply replied, but still looking mad. "Why didn't you tell me he was harassing you?"
Although it brought relief to Wooyoung's heart that San knew the truth. He was still upset that San saw him in a situation like that, and even got into a fight for him.
"I...I didn't think he would go this far..."
"He could have been harassing others too, you're the only one who had the power to tell me and stop him."
"No! I mean...I know he wasn't after anyone else..." Wooyoung looked down. "Seonghwa and I hooked up before, before I was even hired here...so when he saw me, he kept insisting we do it again or we go further...but I promise nothing happened!"
San ran his fingers through his wet hair. "You don't have to explain yourself to me Wooyoung. But you should have spoken up." He clenched his fists. "He could have done so much more."
Wooyoung looked up at the other for a moment, reminding himself that he really didn't need to explain himself. San is only his boss and he's just his secretary.
Nothing more.
"I'm sorry sir...still...thank you for saving me." He rubbed his arm as he spoke quietly, his tears drying up before even falling. "He really was going to do more if you hadn't showed up..."
He looked at the shirt on the table. "You came back for this? You could have just called me to bring it."
"Get me an appointment to get new glasses, these broke." San spoke emotionless as he walked past the other to leave again.
Wooyoung didn't look at all. Feeling a little heartbroken that San didn't sympathize with him or comfort him at all. He only scolded him.
"Well...shouldn't get my hopes up anyway...he'll never look at me like that..." he mumbled sadly, slowly tidying San's desk with a sigh.
Wooyoung wondered if he was just wasting his youth on this crush and his time on this job.
He was happy being delusional enough to think that Mr. Choi would like him back.
He took little details as hints.
Almost forcing things to seem like he is actually interested.
But after what happened in the bathroom, he was dragged roughly to reality.
"But what was San doing in the employee's bathroom..."
