Trouble

Quite the suprise

Here's chapter 3 my lovely people! Also this is my first book, soooo it might not be so professional.. :)

I couldn't believe what I was hearing.. That's Collin?! My god he's changed so much! He's gotten so much taller and older of course. He's even more handsome now than he was back then. Which explains why he's become a player now. It just doesn't seem like him to be that type of person, he always used to tell me how you should always treat women with respect. I guess he changed his mind about that. Gosh I wonder how he's gonna react when he sees me after so long. I hope it's somewhere a positive reaction?
" You know him? " Jess said a bit surprised.
" Well yeah, we used to be best friends when I lived here. "
" Then go say hi! He's gonna be exited to see you again! " she said.
" I don't know, I'm kind of nervous" I said and gulped down the sudden knot in by throat.
" Well I'll go with, we know each other" she said with a smile on her face.
" Okaaay, I guess we could do that." I say starring at Collin, who now stood my the lockers with his phone in his hand. Smirking at something on his phone.

We started waking up to him.
" Hey Collin! " Jess said casually.
He lifted his head from his phone his piercing eyes landing on Jess. He smirked and took a step forward pulling Jess to him by holding her hips, and placing a soft kiss on her cheek. Oh okay awkward..
" Well how's my favorite cheerleader? " he asked in a husky tone, twirling a strand of her hair between his fingers.
" Just fine " she blushed and placed a hand on his chest.  Okay now I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable watching this.
" I actually want you to say hi to an old friend of yours " she smiled and pulled away from his hold, to reveal me standing slightly behind her.
His eyes showed confusion, but then finally landed on me. Sweet lord those eyes. God I've missed them so much.
His eyes start to widen as they lock on mine. He looks completely shocked as he takes my arms and pull me to him. His eyes running over my form, to make sure it's really me.
" B - B - Beth??" He asks completely shocked, his eyes show many different emotions, as they look at me. Confusion, passion, Anger, and.. Sadness?
" Yeah Collin it's me! " I say unable to hide the huge smile on my face. God he's so beautiful.
His face turns to stone as he releases me, cutting me of guard. He nearly pushed me away from him, and I look at him confused.
" wha.." I'm about to ask him what's wrong but he grabs me tightly by the arm and looks me dead in the eyes, as he speaks the words that causes my heart to break.
" Look I don't know why you're back in town, but just Stay the hell away from me. "
He releases me and walks away down the hall before I even have a chance to speak.
Well that was quite the suprise....

" I can't belive that just happend.. " I said after he walked away.
" It's gonna be okay, it's probs just because he's a bit suprised to see you again, that's all.." She said in a little confused tone.
" Well you guys seem pretty close..." I say.
" Yeah we kind of used to hook up.." She says looking a bit uncomfortable..
" Oh " I say sadness overtaking my voice.
" it's okay, you don't need Collin! He's nothing but a cocky playboy." She says smiling and trying to sheer me up. Although it's kind of hard after what just happend. " Let's just go to class " I say in a sad tone.
" Okay Beth, don't worry about him. I'm gonna show you a great time on this school! " she says. Okay I'm like really happy I have her by my side right now.  We start walking to our first class, as I enter the classroom most eyes are on me. The middle aged woman, whom is my new teacher walks up to me and smiles politely at me.
" Well hello dear, I'm mrs. Laine, but you can call me Jane " she said in a happy tone. " oh okay, it's nice to meet you Jane, I'm Bethany Ross. And I'm well I'm new here. " I say with my happiest tone.
She smiles and point to a seat, next to a quite good looking guy.
" You can sit next to Cole, Bethany. " she smiles.
I nod my head and walk to the seat next to Cole. As I walk, I notice Collin sitting in the back of the class. But luckily he doesn't notice me, he's too busy sucking faces with some blond girl.
The sight kind of hurt because he won't even talk to me.
I sit down and look at a really attractive  dude.
" Hey Bethany, I'm Cole it's really nice to meet you. " He says with a charming smile.
" Hi Cole, it's a pleasure to meet you as well. " I say and smile at him.
" now I know that it may be a bit scary to be the new girl. But I'm gonna be by you're side, Sweetheart. " he says and gives me a smile.
" well thank you " I smile back at him.

After some of my next classes I walk by the hall and wait against the lockers for Jess, We were gonna do lunch together.
" Omg Bethany!!! Is that you! " I hear familiar voice say.
I turn around and spot Sarah walking towards me. Hold up Sarah!?!? 
" Sarah!?" I scream.
" Baaaaabes!!! " she yells as she jumps in my arms and we hug for what feels like forever. She pulls away and starres at my face and body.
" My god Beth, it's so good to see you again! And DAAM girl, you look so grown up and mature! You must be the new hottie all the guys are talking about! " she says.
" Yeeeah, I think they must be talking about someone else." I say with a goofy smile.
" Nope! Definitely you! You're just as they described. " she smiles.
" any who god I've missed you Sarah! " I say.
" I've missed you too babes, omg! Have you said hi to Collin yet! " she says and my smile instantly falls.
" yeah, I tried but he told me to stay the hell away from him. " I say as tears treats to fall.
" he did!? That asshole. Don't worry about him, he's probs just going through his man period and all these emotions are too much for him. " she says.
" Yeah, I guess that's why.. " I give her a small smile.
" things kind of changed after you left Beth... Collin started to play around with girls, and forget who he really was. He also wouldn't talk to me for a while, although he ended up apologizing to me for that. " she says.
" Well hopefully he will talk to me soon." I say in a hopeful tone.
" Of course babes " she smiles at me.
As I open my locker, to arms wrap around Sarah's waist. I soon recognize those arms, and realize that it's freaking Collin him self.
" Hey sweetheart, aren't you coming to lunch? " he asks softly in her ear, as he hugs her from behind.
" Uhhh yeah sure.." She says and I notice the blush on her cheeks. Wait Does Sarah like Collin.
" you wanna join us, Beth? " Sarah asks with a smile.
"I'm sure she can eat lunch with Jess, can't you Bethany? " he asks in a cold voice and looks me in the eye. I start to feels nervous under his intense stare.
" Yeah sure, you guys go ahead. " I say in a nervous tone.
Sarah gives me a sad smile as they walk away. Collin 'accidentally' bumps him shoulder with mine as they walk away. Causing it to hurt.
Jess comes up to me and asks
" Ready for lunch? "
" Yeah let's go " I say sadly.
