       The next day I received a detention for skipping school during lunch. I was just playing with my fingers while i waited for detention to end. My detention was supposed to be 45 minutes and i was already 15 minutes in. I continued to be bored until the door opened. I looked up to be only met with hazel eyes. "Irwin, you are 15 minutes late. Go take a seat next to Ms. Williams." God, does everyone hate me? I'm stuck next to Ashton for the next 30 minutes. "pssst.......Van i'm so-"

"Don't call me that. You lost the privilege to call me that when you embarrassed me 3 years ago"

   "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be that mean to you. But, you were my best friend and I feel like if I dated you that it would've lost our friend ship. I didn't want to lose what we already had. Also I really wanted to fit in with the cool kids. They thought you were too nerdy and ugly to hang out with."

   "Unbelievable... if you didn't want to ruin our friendship, then why didn't you say so, But no! you had to go and break down a perfectly normal girl for your own 'popularity' that is no way to treat a friend, and nothing close to a good excuse of what you did to me!"

   "I'm really sorry, Va-.....Vanessa. I just want another chance. Please" He stood in front of me hands clamp, and an expression full of regret, I didn't have enough willpower and eventually gave in.

"Fine. But, this is your only chance." I said seriously.

"Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!", He yelled and picked me up. 

   He twirled me around and had the cutest smile ever, he smiled so wide that his adorable- I mean deep dimples showed. Well.....adorable dimples.
