I turned back towards the tables and looked towards the line, searching it for my friends.
"Kodee!", I heard Kota yell.
I search harder, and smile when I see a small hand go up, and make a waving "come here" gesture.
I quickly sneak over, cutting in front of the now distracted line."Hey, Kodee!", she says enthusiastically.
"Hai, Kota!", I say back happily.Kota is my best friend and has been for 3 years now. She's so kind, sweet, considerate, and shy. Our personalities are so similar, but our likes and styles are so different.
She's short with short, straight, thinning blonde hair, blue eyes, and a small body. She wears things much different than my other friends. She's more girly, and sophisticated when it came to her look.
She's the opposite of me but, she understands me.
Today, she wore her hair down, her blue eyeshadow with black eyeliner, and for clothes she wore a pastel yellow ruffled short skirt, and white flats, with a pastel pink hello kitty shirt.
Unlike Kota, today I was wearing my slipknot shirt, black skinny jeans, and the two presents given to me by Senpai. Both my Of Mice and Men necklace, and wristband.
I wore my long black hair down, teased, and my bangs over my eyes as my fringe. I also had on my black and silver dark eye makeup. I always used silver because it was Senpai's favorite color.
I get stares, ridiculed and made fun of for my style by the more "hipster" kids but, I didn't even care. As long as I liked my look, I'd still do it.
