The dim glow of the computer screen illuminated Jimin's face as his fingers hovered over the keyboard. His heart pounded with excitement, his breath hitching in anticipation. With one final exhale, he pressed the Enter button. For a moment, there was silence. Then, a triumphant grin spread across his face.
Jimin: (jumping up, throwing his hands in the air) Finally! This will rock the industry or even the world! Red Thread Application is completed!
His ecstatic yell filled the office, and within seconds, a round of applause erupted from the other employees. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, their months of relentless hard work finally paying off. You couldn't help but laugh at Jimin's enthusiasm, his excitement so contagious it spread like wildfire across the room. Dae-Hyun, leaning back in his chair, let out a low whistle before shaking his head in admiration.
Dae-Hyun: Hats off to you who actually made it happen.
Sara, ever the realist, folded her arms, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
Sara: Hold on. Don't be happy yet. It hasn't been reviewed and approved yet.
Jimin turned to her, still grinning like a madman, his confidence unwavering.
Jimin: It will get approved no matter what. I'm sure it will get approved. In the beginning, your boss thought we couldn't pull this off. Look what we just completed. Y/n and I were very determined to make this happen.
He shot you a proud glance, and you nodded in agreement. The long nights, the setbacks, the endless revisions—it had all led to this moment. Sara chuckled, shaking her head.
Sara: I know. You guys are genius. Y/n, after this project, I wish boss continue hiring you.
Dae-Hyun: (nodding) Yes, I agree. If we have you on our team, our company will grow even more rapidly. Sara let's convince boss to keep Y/n working with us.
Jimin's jaw dropped, feigning offense.
Jimin: (dramatically clutching his chest) What about me?
Sara: Tell boss, just keep Y/n. What do you think, Y/n?
Y/n: (smile) Thank you, everyone. But after this project is done, I have to work for my family business.
Dae-Hyun: That's a shame. Can't you put that off for 1 or 2 more years?
Y/n: It doesn't make any difference be it sooner or later. I have to go no matter what. Nothing will get changed anyway.
Dae-Hyun leaned back in his chair, throwing his hands up in surrender.
Dae-Hyun: (groaning) Game Over. Period. I guess I have to get stuck with the old faces.
