"How'd you know I wanted the number two?" Momo asked before shoving a piece of saucy meat into her mouth. She sat on the bed with her legs crossed, still naked besides for Ekko's coat, which he insisted she wear.

Ekko had gone to Jerricho's stand to get them some food. He leaned against the headboard, some of the golden sauce on the fish in his fingers dribbling onto his overalls. "Shit—"

He tried smudging it away with his thumb, which just made things worse, the sauce spreading out and causing the blotches to appear bigger. He released a sigh, giving up.

"I remembered your order from that time at the stand. Y'know, that night Scar and I chased you."

She looked up at him from her food. He really had been paying attention, even before he knew who she was. "Oh."

Ekko licked some of the sauce from his fingers, the sight flooding heat between her legs and causing her thighs to press together as she recalled him doing the same last night, but for a different reason.

She pried her gaze from the unintentionally erotic view, instead trying to focus on her meal in her lap.

The bowled meat stirred, her vision swirling and then unwinding to reveal the bowl was no longer there.

Instead, there was Ekko.

Edged muscles. Ropes of matted white hair poking at her forehead as he lay atop her. Creeping touches along her thigh. Clammy hand pressing hers into the bedsheets. Humid breath unfurling down her chin and neck.

His groans and grunts. The delicate, continuous back and forth slide of his cock inside of her. His balls pressed tight against her ass as he filled her with his cum.

She flipped the bowl off her lap, the remaining food spewing out and spattering sauce across the unmade blankets.

She blinked, a new strain having formed behind her eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Ekko asked, placing his own food down on the chair beside the bed before shifting closer to her, careful not to sit in the food she had spilled.

She swallowed down the forming congestion in her throat. These visions... they were occurring more frequently now. Whether they be recollections of her own memories or glimpses through the eyes of another version of herself. She didn't understand. There were too many complexities. She hadn't given herself time to truly think about it either, leaving the matter flayed and open-ended.

Ekko was smart, she knew this. Maybe he could help her figure it out. But explaining it to him could scare him off. He might just realize how severely damaged she was and abandon her before they could further explore their feelings for one another.

No. He wouldn't do that. She shouldn't be doubting him. Ekko didn't often give up on things.

"There's something wrong with me," she confessed shakily, her fingers bunching on her knees.

Ekko slid his hands underneath hers, pulling them from her knees and holding them, his thumb ghosting over her knuckles. "What's wrong? Was I too rough yesterday? Are you sore?"

"No—I mean—there's something wrong with my mind," she said, "I keep having these weird visions, like memories. But it's not like I'm just thinking back on them. It's like I'm forced to relive them, and I'm experiencing them with heightened senses or something."

There was a stunned silence.

"When did this start happening?" Ekko finally asked.

She thought back, combing through the many instances she had been aggressed by the memories.
