it was monday morning, a day everyone hated but not more than kim taehyung. he didnt usually care much as he got to spend more time with jungkook because their monday classes matched but today he didnt want to face him. not for a while, especially after what had happened a day ago.
a short summary of what happened on sunday:
jimin came over..... things were fine till jennie became the topic. jimin was sick of taehyung ignoring his feelings so he convinced jungkook to talk to jennie and give her a chance, tae being his best friend obviously agreed no matter how horrible it felt... following with tae and jimin fighting a little, mostly because of tae's stubbornness but who can blame him.
talking to jennie meant watching jungkook and jennie be all lovey dovey and even though he agreed on that tae was in no mood to witness it happen.
back to present time:-
tae turned in his bed and groaned when he heard the door open, it was lisa obviously, jungkook had left early to have enough time to talk to jennie. " why arent u ready yet? come on get out of the bed" she said as she slightly pulled his blanket but he was holding on too tightly. "no, tell them im sick... i dont want to go today- not only today but never. i dont want to leave my bed even" he replied hiding in his blanket hearing the door open again "i called in sick for both of us" jimin was leaning on the door. tae took his face out, he was sulking very much.jimin showed him the strawberry shortcake he bought on the way as it was tae's comfort food.
"ooh this seems to be serious, im calling in sick too... the drama here is wayyy better" lisa said as she jumped on the bed like a child. god knows when she changed her clothes cuz as long as they remember she was in her formal cloths a while ago. "ok talk." before tae started the door opened again showing jin standing there with a bottle of wine and 4 glasses. "i saved this wine especially for moments like this."
He smiled realizing how lucky he was to have friends like them. He told them everything, not like they didnt know the highlights already, but this time with full details, they talked and talked till jungkook came back from school, he didnt go home instead came straight to tae worried. After he came, they all went out to 'celebrate' his first relationship. The first destination being the amusement park, they enjoyed some rides there then went to eat, afterwards they went to the arcade and stayed there till after midnight. When they reached home, they were too tired to change their clothes let alone walk up the stairs to the room so they crashed out on the sofas.
The next morning was quite chaotic, they all woke up around 1 pm, thanks to lisa's phone ringing. Thats when the chaos began and it affected the entire day obviously. Apart from that, they all could agree that they hadnt had that much fun in a long while and they loved every single moment, their worries forgotten, and it's exactly what they needed. To forget- even for a little while, and just be happy.

I must say, i have been planning on writing since a month now but the time was never on my side, i was also initially planning on making this a really sad chapter but then i deleted half the draft and im quite happy with how it turned out, i hope you all like it too✨💗
